Sophia attended Central Memorial High School in Calgary, where she excelled in their Performing Arts Program, with a strong focus on Drama and Dance. She won the role of Abigail in Arthur Miller's The Crucible and knew she had found her creative calling.

In 2010, Sophia committed herself, mind, body and soul to undertake an intensive four years of studying the craft of acting and immersing herself in every facet of Classical and Contemporary Scene work, The Meisner Technique and Film.

Sophia began her professional career in 2013, playing Maid Mary in the Discovery Channel's mini-series, Klondike

Later that year, Sophia moved to Vancouver to continue her career in the film and television industry while continuing her studies both at Rogues and with Shae Hampton. She never tires of learning or serving the craft she loves.
