Carl Beukes

South African born, Carl Beukes is a graduate of The National School of the Arts, where he studied Speech & Drama.

He is best known for his roles in the South African soaps Isidingo and Binneland. His television credits include: Wild at Heart, Silent Witness, The Res and If This be Treason. He also played the role of Jim Brown in the HBO movie The Girl.

Carl’s film credits include: Jozi, Crazy Monkey Presents Straight Outta Benoni, Pure Blood, Glory Glory and Hijack Stories. Carl starred alongside Idris Elba and Naomi Harris as Niel Barnard in the highly successful Long Walk to Freedom.
