The team heads to Fort Adams in Newport Rhode Island to investigate a location that may have been built to keep people safe, but with the history of murder, death and suicide haunting - the notion of "safety" is questionable.

Visitors to the fort today are reporting apparitions, footsteps, doors opening and closing, knocking sounds and being touched. Robert McCormack has been working here for 10 years and he wants to address the concerns of his staff and visitors about the paranormal experiences. Though he hasn't experienced anything himself, it is a fort. When are they NOT haunted? This is a TAPS specialty!

Fort Adams was built in the 1700s, and has seen many deaths over the years. Notably, in 1879 two soldiers got in an argument and later, one of the soldiers ended up beaten to death nearby.

In 1908 a soldier accused his wife of having an affair and then shot her, before turning the gun on himself. She survived, but he did not. And the most dramatic story involves a soldier having stones thrown at him and being shot by his friend at close range. Now, people visiting the courtyard say they feel stones are being thrown at them by a ghost. Coincidence?

This guy always carries a small flask of something special. On the occasion he offered some spirits to a spirit, he heard a voice say "good". Since it was single malt scotch who could disagree? The team needs to assure their client that all visitors and staff at the Fort are safe and comfortable.

This place is so big it requires an extreme amount of cameras. Tango has them laid out in the key locations including the magazine and the bakery, which are hot spots of activity.

The big problem the team faces is that it will be hard to see any ghosts unless they are illuminated because the fort is so dark. So Steve and Tango walk back to back across the whole Fort to see as much as they can. Until Tango's flashlight pokes Steve's bum from behind. Oops!

The guys were not even a minute into their investigation in the bakery when KJ and Dustin hear footsteps and feel an atmospheric change in the room. Weird.

The Hunters encounter a huge spider. Then a huge bat. And whatever the hell this thing is. But where are the ghosts down in the tunnels? They seem to be walking behind Jay and Steve… or so it seems, according to the footsteps they hear following them.

The gun powder magazine is where people say something throws rocks at them. But Sam and Tango are only spooked by the wind and the chill.

KJ and Dustin cross the gounds of the fort outside when they see all kinds of light flashes in areas where there are no lights around and no one was investigating there. There's something weird going on.

Jason hears voices in the powder magazine. Did someone just answer Steve's questions?

Thermal footage on the DVR shows the shape of a humanoid figure. KJ goes to check it out.

First he gets tugged, then he gets tapped. This is a big night for KJ.

There's nothing like a little down time in a barracks. Though it is questionable whether or not they are alone. They hear all kinds of thumps and movements in there. Plus, someone walked by the outside window.

The GoPro placement by Tango could not have been better. Footage review revealed the sound of footsteps right where soldiers would historically have been marching.

Robert is shocked by the footage- he can hear the child's voice in the audio recording and a whispering voice saying something unintelligible. It's great evidence from a fantastic investigation.
