Carthage, Missouri looks like any other town. But it's local opera house has residents singing in fear of ghosts.

Until he purchased the Burlingame & Chaffee Opera House building, Keith McBride had no time for paranormal beliefs. But since he began restoring the opera house and opened an antique shop on the main floor, he has had too many experiences to ignore. And it feels like the ghosts in his halls are not too fond of him.

Keith is the most recent owner, but throught the centuries, various businesses operated out of what was the town theater in the 1800s. Including a mortuary - hello, red flag! Each floor has it's own kind of ghost, supposedly, and each ghost is from a different era of the building's history.

Claims include apparitions of a man and woman in bridal wear, a black mist on the top floor, and voices that reprimand people for running. In the basement resides the apparition of a young girl believed to have been killed in a carraige accident in the late 1800s. Keith also saw a full bodied apparition dressed from the 1930s, only she didn't have any feet. That's usually a sign of an intelligent haunt.

The most bizarre claim is that Keith once saw an illuminated "3" on the floor of the antiques shop. This was exactly three months- to the day- that the building next door caught on fire. Also, the fact that there is a Masters of the Universe tray (see it on the left?) in the antiques shop depresses us but also makes us want to shop there.

Tango and Steve play music (well, make noise) on the opera floor. Any ghosts might have been scared away.

Jason installs an EMF device into a teddy bear to hopefully attract the little girl ghost. Tango and Sam bring the bear to the basement with them during their EVP session.

Keith shared a photograph of possibly an entity in the window. Tango and Sam believe they can disprove the photo. It is very hard to verify photographic evidence when one doesn't know the circumstances behind it.

The stairwell where Keith says he was pushed seems off balance. Both Jason and Steve's legs feel "heavy" in the area. Is this a result of weirdo stairs, or was Keith maybe not pushed? Jason's questioning this when he hears footsteps and sees a shadow!

The racing footsteps that were so loud that even the Ghost Hunters camera crew heard them.

The evidence is well received by the client. He suspects a former owner of the building is watching over the place. And the audio footage of a little girl crying matched his own personal experiences.

Next TAPS visits a family in Connecticut that is scared for their own safety. In the Eberlin house people have been scratched and food thrown across the room. Residential cases are the cornerstone of TAPS' mission, so this is an important investigation.

These two cuties are afraid to sleep in their bedroom. Homeowner and mom Heather says her son Miles' imaginary friend, Kyle has scratched her son. Her son says Kyle used to live here but he died outside. We're not sure what's creepier - that factoid, or a four year old reporting it. The oldest daughter also has wakened covered in scratches. She also saw a humanoid mass and then a plate crashed to the floor.

KJ and Dustin use a teddy bear to lure out whatever spirits might be interacting with these young children.
187401
In the kitchen, Tango discovers unusally high EMF levels around the appliances.
187406
Dustin and KJ get assertive with the entities, warning them to leave the kids alone. Next thing you know, doors are slamming all over the place. KJ is overwhelmed thinking about what he would do if it were his son that was scared. It's an emotional situation.

Though they expected to debunk the family's claims, the team ended up collecting significant evidence. There was a voice recording of someone saying "mom", plus the personal experiences. Still, TAPS concludes the entities aren't harmful and encourage Ms. Eberlin to get assertive with the spirits and demand they leave the family alone.
