We open in the recent past, where Paige is looking after her ward, Savannah. Savannah seems to have some pretty formidable witchy powers just waiting to spring forth, which brings her to the attention of ...
143056
... a charming yet somewhat sinister chap named Aleister, who works his influence on the young witch as he holds Paige in some sort of trance.
143061
Aleister has Savannah eat what looks like a piece of taffy (evil taffy!), after which a worm-like shape crawls down her arm (gross!). Savannah now seems to be under Aleister's control, at least somewhat.
143066
After Paige conjures a counter-spell to escape the trance, both Savannah and Aleister are gone!
143071
Back in the present day at Stonehaven, Jeremy and the gang search the surrounding woods for the escaped Malcolm ... but that big bad wolf is gone baby gone.
143076
Ruth and Paige return to the house, where the younger witch shows off her powers by holding Jeremy in mid-air, which is the last thing you should to to a control freak like our beloved Pack Alpha.
143081
The witches tell the werewolves that they have Malcolm in custody and plan to hand him over to Aleister in exchange for Savannah. Jeremy offers to help them, but upon Savannah's safe return, Malcolm must be returned to his cage at Stonehaven. An uneasy (to say the least) alliance is formed.
143086
Malcolm is indeed the prisoner of the witches. Here one of their colleagues, Bridget, shows him what happens when he tries to attack a lady with magical powers.
143091
Things get even more heated at Stonehaven upon the arrival of Eduardo, who's come looking for his Pack Alpha, Roderigo. Yeah, the guy whose throat Jeremy tore out in the last episode.
143096
As Jeremy stalls Eduardo, Clay and Elena frantically hide Roderigo's body and mop up the bloody mess on the floor. Eduardo claims he's satisfied that Roderigo isn't on the premises, though he certainly seems suspicious of some sort of cover-up.
143101
Meanwhile, Aleister is keeping Savannah at his compound, claiming he's protecting her from the witches who seek to keep her from realizing her full potential. He encourages her to explore and develop her powers, using the phrase "I am The Lock" as a trigger to put her into a submissive trance when she becomes uncooperative. Savannah tells her about a dream she had involving a werewolf in a barn at a place called Heisling Farm. Aleister is intrigued ... and pleased.
143106
As Clay and Elena dispose of Roderigo's body in the woods, Clay tells her about his troubled past ... and reveals that it was Malcolm who killed his family and turned him into the werewolf he is today.
143111
The specific location of Heisling Farm was indeed a trap set by the witches, who are able to secretly communicate with Savannah via what Nick refers to as "Witchy FaceTime."
143116
Their "Witchy Skype call" (again, a Nick term) is cut short when Savannah (via Paige) talks about "the woman from Rochester" who was "screaming because of the baby," which prompts Logan to grab Paige and demand more info about Rachel. NEVER cut off a Witch Skype Call, Logan!
143121
Outside the barn, Jeremy and Ruth discuss tactics as they prepare for Aleister's arrival. They might even be flirting a little bit, too.
143126
Aleister approaches Malcolm, who's being kept from his grasp by a witchy spell. Aleister figures the first step is to dispose of whoever's casting the spell, so he sends a sharp piece of metal flying through the air ...
143131
... which slices right through poor Bridget.
143136
Jeremy and the others attack, though they're sent flying off their feet by a sudden dust storm conjured by Aleister ...
143141
... after which a whole slew of Aleister's goons arrive and engage in battle with the werewolves.
143146
Aleister shares a brief exchange with Ruth, who's surprised that he knows her name. Who -- or what -- is this guy?
143151
Inside the barn, Bridget dies from her injury. Nick takes on one of Aleister's goons, who fights relentlessly due to not feeling any pain; it isn't until Paige casts a sleeping spell that she's subdued.
143156
Elena pursues a fleeing Malcolm and the two beat the holy hell out of each other until Malcolm gains the upperhand. He proceeds to strangle Elena ...
143161
... until she slashes his neck open with her super-sharp nails. Yes!!
143166
As the big bad wolf dies, his final words to Elena are: "Run."
143171
And run she does, but toward Aleister, not away from him, as he muses, "Malcolm wasn't the strongest werewolf after all."
143176
Aleister calmly outstretches his hand toward the rushing Elena and we smash cut to black.
143181
As Aleister's goons load their dead into the back of the truck, Logan pretends to be one of the bodies and hitches a ride to Aleister's compound.
143186
As the sun sets, Jeremy finds his father dead, but there's no trace of Elena.
143191
Back at Stonehaven, Paige performs a burial ritual for her fallen friend, Bridget. Nick is impressed ... and more than a little turned on.
143196
Inside the house, Clay and the others interrogate Aleister's goon as to the location of Elena, Logan, Rachel and Savannah. She yammers something about "The key that unlocks the Great Undoing" and "Four-six," and then stabs herself in the stomach. Jeez!
143201
The episode ends with Elena strapped to a gurney, screaming as she tries to free herself from her bonds.
