WARNING: If you don't want to know what happened in this episode, don't read this photo recap!
Construction workers are using port-o-potties on a condominium worksite in Purgatory!
212643
Oh, and one of them is also being devoured by a mysterious demon creature with a penchant for webbing. This is a job for Black Badge.
212644
The property manager is a high school friend of Wynonna's, Mercedes Gardner. She lets Wynonna poke around the worksite looking for clues to the arachnid trespasser. While doing her due dilligence, Earp runs into a suspicious character: her old Revenant buddy, Earl. Love to hate this guy.
212645
While giving Earl chase, Wynonna has yet another chance encounter. With the body-snatched construction worker. Slacking on the job. Earl escapes, but at least Wynonna has something to bring back to the lab.
212646
The retreived pod, when cracked open, frees a baby spider thingy. Which is totally gross and disgusting and needs to end right now. Waverly ends up trapping it under a trash can, and Wynonna blows it to spider heaven with Peacemaker. The dedication to extermination is real.
212647
Jeremy, the Black Badge lab geek, analyzes the spider demon creature as Doc…doesn't. He deduces that there's likely lots more of these critters crawling around somewhere.
212648
Meanwhile, to rid themselves and the house of Willa's haunting presence, her sisters burn her stuff. All her stuff. Even the good stuff. It's an attempt at a complete exorcism.
212649
That night Mercedes Gardner, the property manager, is making the rounds and performing her routine checkup when she's forced to reckon with a whole family of hopeful tenants: more baby spider thingies! She calls Wynonna to help her deal.
212650
Wynonna rejects all the little critters' applications and she evicts them by force. With Peacemaker. To baby spider heaven. Waverly helps the shook up Mercedes deal with her supernatural experience.
212651
After another run-in with Earl, Wynonna gets him to spill some beans. The condo used to be an old all-girls school. In the basement is a chapel — the oldest, and most hallowed, part. She wants him to show it to her, he refuses, she roughs him up, he agrees — you know how it goes. But when Earl gets a little feisty, Wynonna brings down the hammer. Sledge hammer.
212652
On the other side of town, Lucado finds out that Doc has purloined some top secret documents from her office safe. The documents show that she put a hit out on Dolls, not good stuff. In exchange for them back, she offers him pleasures of the flesh. When that doesn't catch his fancy, she then promises him pleasures of the wallet. When that doesn't work either, she leaves.
212653
Having dispatched Earl, Wynonna ventures inside the chapel and is joined by her sis. There they find a whole swarm of incubating, body snatcher pods. Wynonna and Waverly go to town.
212654
All the Earps' hard work may have unintended consequences, though. Clearing away all those pods laid bare a seal that some other supernatural creatures need to enact their evil plans. What supernatural creatures, you ask?
212655
These creatures, to be precise. The Widows. Please: keep the veils on.
212656
Doc has also hired a bartender who appears to know how to mix a lot more than a Tom Collins. We're talking full-on chemistry setup, poisonous gases, test tubes, the lot. What is our cad in residence cooking up?
212657
Waverly, who's been acting strange ever since she touched that goo, is getting progressively stranger. A hunger in the middle of the night has her reaching for some unusual junk food: dead baby spider thingy. But maybe she's just trying out a new diet? Choices, Waverly.
