TV THIS WEEK: Boba Fett and Cobra Kai premiere, Doctor Who, SYFY's Twilight Zone marathon & more

We're crane-kicking our way out of the Sarlacc pit with this week's line-up.

The Book Of Boba Fett

New year, new Star Wars show — plus a long-awaited return to the All Valley Karate Tournament — in our latest edition of TV This Week.

The big stories are on streaming as we head toward the kickoff of 2021 this weekend, with Disney+ premiering its buzzy new The Book of Boba Fett original live-action Star Wars project, and Netflix kicking off the fourth season of Cobra Kai (just as the fifth season has already finished shooting). HBO Max has a new season of animated DC series Young Justice, and BBC America has the latest holiday special for soon-to-be departing Doctor Who star Jodie Whittaker.

If you're looking for some sci-fi comfort food, SYFY will have its annual New Year's Twilight Zone marathon on Friday and Saturday, along with some fan favorite genre flicks like The Goonies on the schedule. Digging a bit deeper, Paramount Plus has a new Star Trek: Discovery and Amazon Prime has a new episode of The Expanse's final season.

Beyond that things are a bit thin (it is a holiday week, after all), but don't forget there are also some blockbusters on the big screen to help fill in the gaps. Spider-Man: No Way Home continues to break records, and The King's Man has also opened, along with The Matrix Resurrections (which is also streaming on HBO Max).

Check out the full rundown below.
