Now Fogg is heroically trying to help Kady and Zelda, still trapped in the Poison Room. He secretly asks Todd to send a book to the library for him and then is taken away by Librarians as Quentin and Penny observe. They had gone to him to ask for accessing magic and need a new plan.

Kady and Zelda are running out of time in the Poison Room, where they are surprised to find another person. It's Christopher Plover, everyone's least-favorite children's book author and child molester. He's been in there since Alice trapped him. Plover offers to help them survive if they help him escape.
430142
Penny and Quentin head to Fillory and are directed to the entranceway Fen, Josh and Tick found in the castle. Fen appears with a fish in a bowl and asks them to follow her. 430143
Fen fills Margo in on what's happening with Josh. He's a Fillorian Dying Fish, and needs constant eye contact in order to survive. Fen gives him to Margo to caretake.
430144
In the Library, Kady and Zelda make a deal with Plover. If he helps them survive, they will help him out. He shares his secret: eating moss has helped absorb the poisons. Also in the library, Dean Fogg evades detention with a magical super-suit and disguises himself as a Librarian. And still in the Library, Kady and Zelda realize the moss isn't working. Turns out Plover is still alive due to some of Martin Chatwin's old magical spells. They are still being poisoned. And noir-Librarian Kady is pretty pissed.
430145
Margo fills in Alice and Quentin on what's happening with Josh-Fish. She lets them know about their bangarang status and how she likes having him around, but she's definitely not in love. Alice says it kinda sounds like she is, and Margo agrees. She is in love with Josh-Fish. Then Quentin finds the info for the hedge witch vet that helped Kady out with Pete before and hands it to Margo, who calls the doc and dashes off.

Zelda has admitted to Kady that there is a cure for the Poison Room afflications, and that they did NOT pass that on to Penny. She is furious. Meanwhile, Everett and the other Librarians know that Kady and Zelda are trapped in the Poison Room. They don't have much time -- and then Everett pulls Zelda into an alternate plane to talk to her. She tells him that she knows all about his plan to become a god. He says that he's doing it so that he can learn what makes them tick and better prepare the Library for the whims of mercurial gods. Everett tells Zelda that he plans to take the powers currently in Eliot's body in order to learn more about the gods. Everett also says he has been redirecting magic to Fillory but he can't access it because it's locked behind a puzzle that he can't solve. He needs Quentin Coldwater's to do it, and asks Zelda to help him with that.
430148
Fogg sneaks around the stacks, and uses his book ploy to follow some Librarians into the Poison Room. His trick is working... He turns the Librarians into puppies and sneaks into the Poison Room to save Zelda and Kady. He does not want to help Plover, but when Plover says he can help them find the magical reservoir he reluctantly agrees to take him with them. They all sneak out together. They are surrounded by Librarians, and Fogg holds them off while the remaining three dash to the Earth fountain. Then Fogg is captured.
430149
Gordie the hedge vet sees Margo and Josh-Fish. She tells him that the fish needs constant eye contact and this is not working for her. The vet suggests popping out that magical fairy eye for a while and letting that make the eye contact that Josh-Fish needs to survive. This might just work...
430150
Kady and Zelda bring Plover to Alice and Quentin in the Best Apartment Ever. Plover is egotistical and gross and shares weird insights about Fillory. And he is the only one who knows how to access the magical reservoir. He calls it the Secret Sea, and says that the only way to get through Martin's puzzle and access the sea is to make a special flower grow in the nearby garden. It is an antidote to the Fish-spell, and in order to make it bloom you have to truly love Fillory. The gang decides Quentin is the one on the hook for this task. He's best suited to it. Quentin isn't so sure.
430151
Zelda leaves to find someone to help her apply an antidote to the Poison Room toxins. Kady stays behind -- it seems like maybe she doesn't want to be healed. Penny 23 confronts her about it and tells her she needs to live.
430152
Evil Julia and Evil Eliot go a-strolling in Central Park. EE wants more info about himself and is somewhat sweet and pleading with his sister. She's dismissive, telling him that he's too much like the humans and they need to stay on the revenge-seeking path. She wants to go after their parents, the unnamed gods. And there's a scroll they found once that can get them there. It's in the Library...
430153
Quentin heads to Fillory to sweet-talk the flower so that they can access the magic that they need. It's a moment -- can he really reach that part of himself that loves Fillory, after everything they have been through and all of the disillusionment he has experienced? In his heart, Quentin believes that loving the idea of Fillory should be enough. That's what saved him way-back-when. And a small bud begins to sprout...
430154
Evils Eliot and Julia get all murder-y in The Library. They kill anyone in their path, then head to the Poison Room and find the scroll they were looking for. Leaving the Poison Room, they walk down the hall and head separate ways. Librarian Sheila hides and then gets to a bunny, which she sends to Alice: "Monsters in Library."
430155

430156
Penny gives Margo the leaf so that Josh can become human again. Margo realizes she can't leave until Josh becomes human again. Penny takes the ice axes and swears that he will bring Eliot back.
