Picking right up from where we left our heroes -- Penny tells Quentin and Julia what he learned from True Eliot. The Monster is building a body, but not his own. He's going to rebuild that of his sister, who was murdered when he was trapped so Penny suspects she's the really bad one. Yikes. And Enyalius' stone is the last one that he needs, but Evil Eliot doesn't remember all of this yet and so he doesn't know to look for Enyalius.

Margo begins her banishment trek, searching for The Foremost and the ice axes that just might save Eliot. She's soon out of water, but Margo's got a trusty lizard by her side. Just one lick, and she falls so hard, hard, hard -- into an amazing musical trance. And oh yes, Eliot's there singing in shirtless, multi-necklaced glory covering "Don't Get Me Wrong" by The Pretenders. Margo follows him until she collapses.

Margo is found by a group of people. They threaten to kill her until they realize she has been banished from Fillory so they consider her an ally. She collapses again.
427772
Evil Eliot unwinds at a local bar. He befriends a woman and when she touches his face it triggers a memory. He creepily demands she touch his face again and he remembers his sister. Then he transports/kidnaps the woman.

Alice gives Julia the book in the mirror realm that she found called "The Binder." She's mapping the Library's magic flow. And Julia, Quentin and Penny are trying to find Enyalius to warn him about Evil Eliot. Julia realizes he's a god named Aengus who changes his form and is protected and hidden by Leprechauns. They need to find a Leprechaun.

Margo awakens in a tent in the desert. She's in a community where red desert spirits attack women when they show emotion. Men jump in to sacrifice themselves -- taking the demon possession on. As Margo observes, Mr. Ice Ax attacks a man to expel a demon, and a woman captures it in a jar. Then the man is tended to. As Margo takes this in, the hallucination of Eliot is at her side. She decides to seduce Mr. Ice Ax to get those axes, and has a musical hallucination as she does so -- bringing Eliot, Fen and Josh in. (Oh man. Josh. Whimper.)

Alice and Kady fill in Zelda on what they are learning about the magical pipelines. Turns out there is a lot more magic available than what The Library is allowing. They are tracking it, and things are off. Zelda thinks there must be a simple error or explanation, but Kady is sure that this is Everett's doing. Zelda agrees to look into it.
427776
Mr. Ice Ax won't loan Margo the axes -- he says they are enchanted and work only for him. He says that she has to voyage into the desert to collect rare grains of black sand that can then be forged into weapons. So Margo heads off with her musical army behind her: Kady, Eliot, Josh, Fen and Dean Fogg.

Quentin, Julia and Penny head to find Aengus through a Leprechaun. They end up at a shoe store where a woman named Berry bats away their questions until she finally agrees to help them. She takes them to a back room to solve some puzzles and she does not seem impressed by the urgency of the situation.
427778
Margo struggles to find sand and not get emotional when Eliot sings her a lullaby. She pauses the digging and talks through the turmoil of her life with Eliot. Defiant, strong, and angry she screams and summons a red sand demon. Margo addresses the specter who answers her thoughts.
427779
Penny, Quentin and Julia finally reach Aengus. They tell him how he is at risk and it is urgent, and he is super flip about it and not in a hurry to go into hiding. Also, he's creepily into Julia and her almost-goddess status. This god is super annoying. He reveals his fallout shelter door and slowly tries to remember his password to get in.
427780
Margo returns to the community with a full bag of black sand and confronts Mr. Ice Ax and his helpmate. Turns out, the red specter is a manifestation of spirits who are trying to help women in distress. And Margo is pretty sure these two jerks know that and are using it to keep people under their control.
427781
Freeing the red spirit demons, Margo grabs the ice axes and emerges from the tent. She is fierce. Her musical army of allies appears behind her and they sing "Storm Coming." The demons attack the men.
427782
Aengus the Annoying just can't remember that password and moves way too slow, so Evil Eliot appears and kills him. He grabs the stone from Aengus' body and turns to face Quentin, Penny and Julia. Penny quickly grabs them and travels them out of there.
427785
An amazing ally army sings while Margo rampages through the community and then tells the women just exactly what's been going on there. She lets them know that the spirits serve them and they can control them.
427783
Back at the apartment, Julia talks to Quentin. Penny, Kady and Alice are all there and they are nursing their wounds, unsure of what to do next. Quentin is despondent, and Julia tells him she needs him. The doorbell rings, and it's Zelda. She's got news.
427786
Margo triumphantly walks away from tent city with the demon-expelling ice axes in hand. Hallucino-Eliot serenades her exit.
