Wynonna Earp: New trailer shows Wynonna's back on the hunt, and also on a bit of a bender

Saddle up, Earpers. Wynonna and the gang are coming back to SYFY on March 5, 2021 for Wynonna Earp's midseason premiere, and there’s a brand-new trailer to get us revved up for it.

How to Watch

Catch up on Wynonna Earp on the SYFY app.

What does the trailer reveal? Lots of things! Check it out here:

“All I want is to stop feeling guilty for what I am, when what I am is necessary,” Wynonna, played by Melanie Scrofano, says at the beginning of the clip. The trailer then goes on to show Wynonna on a bit of a bender — killing demons, getting drunk, hooking up, and passing out, all with Peacemaker back by her side.

Even though Wynonna has been reunited with Peacemaker, she doesn’t seem happy, most likely because things between her and Doc are on the rocks after the mid-season finale. The trailer goes on to reveal that things aren't going so great for Doc, either — we see glimpses of Wynonna’s vampire baby daddy behind bars. Black Badge isn’t taking kindly to the likes of Doc lately, it seems, and they want him out of Purgatory, or worse.

Meanwhile, the Garden is up to no good — there’s an ominous fog emanating through the town, and it seems like it might be coming from there, and that it wants Wynonna. The trailer then cuts to the back of a winged individual overseeing a burning building, a voice saying the gates must close, and hints that Waverly (Dominique Provost-Chalkley) — Wynonna's half-angel sister — may be the key to it all.

Things aren’t all ominous in the trailer, though — it ends on a happy note, with Nicole Haught (Katherine Barrell) trying to come up with a hashtag for her wedding to Waverly. In a definite fan nod, she comes up with WayHaught, the tag fans have adopted for the couple. The WayHaught reference also teases the question — will we actually see their wedding? The trailer doesn’t make that clear, so we’ll have to wait for the last six episodes to air to find out.

The brand-new six episodes of the fourth season are set to return on March 5 at 10 p.m. ET /9 CT and will culminate in SYFY’s epic finale on Friday, April 9.
