Exclusive: Watch Wonder Woman enter the world of Scooby-Doo for the first time

By Jacob Oller
Wonder Woman Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?

Scooby-Doo's long history of guest stars and pop culture cameos didn't stop with the Globetrotters or Addams Family during the franchise's heyday in the '70s. Its latest series, Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?, has been flexing some contemporary star power as faces like Bill Nye, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Mark Hamill help solve crimes in the Mystery Machine. But what about more exciting genre figures like Batman and Robin? Well, Guess Who? has a few of those in store too, the most exciting of which is a hero whose film stands tall among her DC teammates: Wonder Woman.

Yes, Princess Diana is going to have a run-in with the Scooby Gang, which means that the crimes the teens are tackling must be on a much more intense level than usual. This time, it's a Minotaur. It also means that Daphne and Velma will have a chance to geek out over their feminist heroine. And SYFY WIRE can exclusively show you the moment when they meet.

Check it out:

While Shaggy is the first to hilariously admit that he's a cultureless buffoon, the true stars of this clip are (naturally) the women. After showing off the Lasso of Truth, Wonder Woman (Justice League Action's Rachel Kimsey) chats with Daphne and Velma about what it really means to be a hero. Velma gets a superpowered high-five while even Daphne gets to show off some martial arts moves...that she learned in Yogarobics.

The Wonder Woman episode of Scooby Doo and Guess Who? airs on Cartoon Network on Aug. 12 at 10:30 AM.
