Third trailer for Nickelodeon's Wonder Park is nothin' but a good time
The third trailer for Nickelodeon's upcoming animated feature Wonder Park wants you to take a step back from the fast-paced nature of everyday life and indulge in your youthful fantasies, which you may have given up on long ago.
June (voiced by Brianna Denski) is the central protagonist, a girl who, as a child (voiced by Sofia Mali), imagined a fantastic amusement park with rides like the Skyflinger, Fantastic Fish Carousel, and Zero-G-Land. Years later, June has abandoned the idea for Wonder Park and is on the verge of becoming a cynical adult when she discovers that the idea has somehow come to life in the woods.
Moreover, the park is staffed by talking animals who need her help to save Wonder Park from an assault by the dreaded Chimpan-zombies.
Watch the new trailer (set to Poison's "Nothin' But a Good Time") below:
Matthew Broderick, Jennifer Garner, Mila Kunis, Ken Jeong, Kenan Thompson, John Oliver, and Ken Hudson Campbell all voice characters in the film.
The movie still does not have a credited director, which could indicate some trouble behind the project's production. Based on the trailer, however, Wonder Park looks like a competent animated feature for both kids and adults that will remind the latter demographic of what it was like to be an imaginative child.
Here's a poster as well:
Written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec (the duo behind Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol), Wonder Park opens its gates for business on Friday, March 15.
