The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda return in Season 2 trailer for Disney+ Star Wars series

The Mandalorian S2

The Mandalorian's viral tag-team of bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Baby Yoda (ok, ok, The Child) are finally back in action after wrapping up the first season of live-action Star Wars TV during their run on Disney+. Now the Jon Favreau-created series is on its way back to the streamer — where a third season has also already been ordered — and one of its biggest draws this time around is the live-action debut of fan-favorite character Ahsoka Tano, played here by Rosario Dawson.

Thanks to the first teaser for the season, fans can get a taste of what's coming to the intergalactic buddies.

The end of Season 1 certainly teased plenty that Star Wars fans are dying to see more of. The Child's origins, the iconic jetpack...the Darksaber!?! And all while staying out of the clutches of Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). Now that the first footage from the show has dropped, it's time to start speculating on what deep cuts and reveals the next episodes will bring.

Check it out:

This is the way...the way The Child is protected and reunited with its people. Now the Jedi are involved...but at least Mando is dedicated: "Wherever I go, he goes." And who was that in the robe when the voiceover discussed those enemy wizards AKA Jedi? Regardless, the fights look awesome, the Baby Yoda looks cute, and Pascal is giving us even more with his hero.

No wonder executive producer Dave Filoni said that "everything is getting better and better, and everyone was energized from the reaction we got from the first season" while his team was creating the second season.

And boom, a hot new poster too:

The show stars Pascal, Esposito, Carl Weathers, Gina Carano, and Bill Burr as well as newcomers Dawson and Michael Biehn. The Mandalorian returns to a galaxy far, far away Oct. 30.
