How to Watch

Watch Resident Alien on SYFY and Peacock.

This means that you can be among the first to binge the very next entry before its official network airdate of Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 10 p.m. EST. (It will be available to stream for 30 days, through March 5.)

In fact, viewers can currently access the first three installments, making it easier than ever to check out the brand-new TV series from creator Chris Sheridan (a veteran of Family Guy). In addition, Episodes 1 and 2 ("Pilot" and "Homesick") can also be viewed for free on the official SYFY YouTube channel (those will be available through Feb. 17).

Meanwhile, viewers with cable subscriptions can watch the first three episodes starting Feb. 4 via On Demand, OneApp, Apple TV, or Roku.

[FULL EPISODE 2] Alan Tudyk's First Day as an Alien Doctor | Resident Alien | SYFY

Resident Alien is based on the Dark Horse comic book series of the same name by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse. Alan Tudyk (FireflyRogue One: A Star Wars Story, Doom Patrol) leads the cast as the titular extra-terrestrial, who takes on the form of a local doctor: Harry Vanderspeigle. Stranded on our planet, the visitor from beyond the stars is forced to awkwardly assimilate into human society, which he hopes to wipe out ... just as soon as he can find his missing doomsday device.

"I have so much respect for Tudyk. He has paid his dues so well and for so long as the character actor that we all know and love from Firefly, and the multiple sci-fi roles that he’s had after that in Star Wars and Moana," Alice Wetterlund, who plays maverick bartender D'Arcy Bloom, told SYFY WIRE ahead of the show's premiere. "He has just done so much great work in his career, but to see him step into the role of leader and be at the mantle of a cast like this is great. I feel like it gives me hope as an actor and he has such empathy. It’s really important for a leader in the center of a cast to have the kindness and patience alongside the professionalism that he has. I feel really safe acting with Alan. It’s easy, it’s fun, and I think it comes across."

Sara Tomko ("Asta Twelvetrees"), Corey Reynolds ("Sheriff Mike Thompson"), Levi Fiehler ("Mayor Ben Hawthorne"), Meredith Garretson ("Kate Hawthorne"), Judah Prehn ("Max"), and Elizabeth Bowen ("Deputy Liv Baker") co-star. Terminator alum Linda Hamilton will eventually show up as General McCallister, a shady member of the military who sends out two operatives — David Logan (Alex Barima) and Lisa Casper (Mandell Maughan) — to track down the alien. As it so happens, the ending of Episode 2, which introduced the mysterious substance known as Tellurium, gave us our initial look at the two government agents. It's clear that they're onto the strange stuff that's been happening since the alien first crash-landed.
