Hasbro goes virtual with 2-day 'PulseCon' fan event with fresh D&D, G.I. Joe, Star Wars merch
Hasbro is the latest company to announce a virtual fan convention amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The two-day event is officially dubbed "PulseCon" and will take the form of an exclusive livestream on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel between Sep. 25 - 26.
SYFY WIRE's own Jackie Jennings has been tapped as host and MC for the toy and game-based festivities that are set to include: panels, celebrity appearances/Q&As, over 50 product reveals, unboxings, special giveaways, and more. Dungeons & Dragons, G.I. Joe, Magic: The Gathering, Power Rangers, Transformers, Marvel, Star Wars, and Ghostbusters are just a few of the well-known IPs that are going to be represented at PulseCon.
"To be a part of this new virtual experience that celebrates fan culture and incorporates so many different iconic entertainment properties is truly a thrilling opportunity and I can't wait for fans to check it out," Jennings said in a statement.
