Scott Pilgrim vs The World

Scott PIlgrim vs. The World, one of the zaniest, video-gamiest, comic-and-neon adaptations to ever make the leap from page to screen, is turning ten years old this year. In celebration, the cast and creative team reunited to perform a table read of the script for the diehard fans that've only solidifed the film as a cult classic in the decade since its release.

Hosted by director and co-writer Edgar Wright (Shaun of the DeadThe World's End), the table read reunited most of the all-star original cast — including the likes of Michael Cera, Anna Kendrick, Chris Evans, Aubrey Plaza, Brandon Routh, Jason Schwartzman Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and many more — with co-writer Michael Bacall filling in some of the gaps. Bryan Lee O'Malley, writer of the source graphic novel series, was also on the Zoom call that so many of these reunions have become.

The entire table read took less than an hour and a half and is a perfect gift to fans hoping for more Scott Pilgrim in their lives.

Take a look:

Ok, that only took a few tries to get right. The live-read was part of a charity drive, pushing for donations to combat the water crisis via Water for People. Those looking to win original O'Malley drawings can donate to the fundraiser here.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is available to stream on Netflix in all its decade-old glory.
