Chosen One of the Day: Nightcrawler's Bamf doll
As if you needed one more reason to thirst after the suave furry blue mutant known as Nightcrawler, the man has his very own doll. Not just any doll — his own in-canon-merch “Bamf” doll. Because of course Kurt “I got the juice” Wagner has his own plush creation to gift his lovers and friends and keep them company in his absence. When you work for someone like Charles Xavier there is no guarantee you’ll make it back safely so giving someone such a memorable gift makes sense.
The “Bamf” doll makes its first appearance in Uncanny X-Men #145. Kurt gave one to Amanda Sefton. No one knows if Kurt makes these dolls himself but it wouldn’t be surprising if he did. Hopefully, they don’t smell like brimstone. It was an innocent enough token of love until Uncanny X-Men #168 when Kurt lays with the doll strategically placed in front of his own nightcrawler while waiting for Amanda to return to her apartment.
When she arrives, he is in a come-hither pose telling her he hopes she’s happy to have the real thing instead of the doll. Amanda replies by saying “yum,” and that doll's remaining innocence bamfed right out the window.
