The Twilight Zone reboot announces premiere date, release schedule
Those having Rod Serling withdrawals can finally mark their calendars. That’s because the CBS All Access reboot of The Twilight Zone coming from Jordan Peele finally has a release date.
Fans can see the new anthology of eerie sci-fi weirdness on April 1, according to Julie McNamara, executive vice president of original content for CBS All Access.
McNamara made the announcement at CBS’ Television Critics Association presentation Wednesday in Beverly Hills, noting that the first two episodes of the show will be made available upon the series’ debut. The show, available only on the CBS streaming service, will offer up a new episode every week on Thursdays, starting on April 11.
Fans can anticipate genre-frequenting stars like Ike Barinholtz, John Cho, Taissa Farmiga, Greg Kinnear, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Jacob Tremblay, Jessica Williams, DeWanda Wise, and Steven Yeun joining Peele — who will serve as the Serling-esque host and narrator of the anthology series — in all sorts of strange adventures in odd dimensions.
The Twilight Zone invites you into its first two episodes on April 1.
