TV THIS WEEK: The Book of Boba Fett, The Expanse, Star Trek: Prodigy, movies & more
It's a relatively light week, but there are still a few highlights on the dial.
It's a relatively light week as we head into the thick of 2022, but streaming carries the torch for cool sci-fi stuff on the TV dial this week — plus plenty of cool movies to fill in the gaps.
Disney+ is kicking off the new year with another series from a galaxy far, far away with a new episode of The Book of Boba Fett, while Prime Video is dropping the penultimate episode of The Expanse's final season. Digging a bit deeper, NBC has a new installment of its reality-bending Ordinary Joe, Paramount Plus has a new episode of animated series Star Trek: Prodigy, and CBS has a new episode of Ghosts.
On the movie front, SYFY has the network premieres of classics like Kick-Ass and Geostorm, as well as Hotel Transylvania and Hotel Transylvania 2. TNT has the network premiere of Kingsman: The Secret Service (in case you're looking for a primer with The King's Man currently on the big screen).
