Welcome to the SpongeBob-verse: Exclusive first look at Nickelodeon's Nov. 19 crossover event
For the first time ever, watch characters from the world of Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years appear in 2D for a brand-new episode of SpongeBob SquarePants.
Every great franchise eventually has its huge crossover moment when characters and series come together for an epic event. From the MCU to TV's Arrowverse, and now SpongeBob SquarePants is getting in on the fun with its very own SpongeBob Mega Event.
On November 19, Nickelodeon will collect all three Bikini Bottom universe shows on one night — SpongeBob SquarePants, Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years and The Patrick Star Show — and debut brand-new episodes, back-to-back for the first time ever. And it gets crazier when characters from the CG animated Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years go 2D to appear on SpongeBob SquarePants. Yeah, it's all your favorite SpongeBob action in one place.
SYFY WIRE has an exclusive look at Kamp Koral original characters, Narlene and Nobby, all grown up and visiting SpongeBob in "Something Narwhal This Way Comes”:
The SpongeBob Mega Event kicks off at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT) with the SpongeBob SquarePants episode featuring the visiting Narwhals, followed at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT) by the new Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years featuring Pearl's new babysitter. And last but not least is The Patrick Star Show episode where ornery GrandPat stops the family from selling his memories at "The Yard Sale."
In the 22-year history of SpongeBob SquarePants, this is the first time the Bikini Bottom universe includes not only new episodes of the original animated series but two additional spin-off series airing at the same time. No other spin-offs have been formally revealed, but Paramount+ announced a new SpongeBob movie is actively in development. And we bet it won't be long until the SpongeBob Cinematic Universe gets its own epic crossover event too.
All these years later, SpongeBob remains a key family-friendly property — and it stands to reason Paramount Plus opens up all kinds of new directions to take the franchise in the future.
