They are mainly in the positive, speaking of a roaring good space opera that outshines The Force Awakens and takes the franchise in a brand-new direction. Plus, they say it's full of ambition, exciting action sequences, fun new characters (#PorgNation), shocking twists, and an overall darker tone. Mark Hamill's getting some nice praise as well for his return as Luke Skywalker. Some are even calling it the best Star Wars movie yet made. In the words of Andy Samberg pretending to be Nicolas Cage, "That's high praise."
