SYFY sets Keanu Reeves’ excellent birthday marathon with Bill & Ted, Constantine

The seemingly ageless superstar Keanu Reeves turns 56 on Wednesday, September 2 — and SYFY is celebrating with a three-day marathon spotlighting a few of his most iconic genre flicks.

The network has announced the “Keanuthon,” which will feature airings of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, Constantine, and John Wick 2. Not a bad mix of rock ’n' roll adventure, dark fantasy thrills, and some gun-blazing action. The event kicks off on Wednesday, September 2, and runs through Friday, September 4.

With Bill & Ted Face the Music dominating the VOD charts, it’s a perfect chance to catch up on the time-traveling (and afterlife-escaping) adventures that helped start off the franchise all those years ago. Constantine has also spent the years since his 2005 solo film becoming more and more popular (admittedly with Matt Ryan in the trenchcoat, but still); and the John Wick flicks are always a good ride.
