Kit Harington says Rose Leslie won't say this iconic Game of Thrones line to him ever again
The real-life marriage between Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie is a match made in fandom heaven, but don't assume that they just spout Westerosi quotes at each other every minute of every day. Although, let's be honest, that'd be awesome.
During a recent interview on the Today show, Harington revealed that Leslie will never say one very iconic line of dialogue spoken by the Wilding known as Ygritte: "You know nothing, Jon Snow."
"[She] already said that and doesn't ever wanna say it to me again," said Harington when interviewer Keir Simmons mentioned that "you know nothing" is something a wife might say to her husband over years of wedded bliss.
"You made the smart move of marrying somebody who'd already said that to you," said Simmons with a laugh.
Last week, Harington talked about how Leslie wouldn't talk to him for three days after he spoiled the series finale for the eighth and final season of Thrones, which premieres this spring. Plot twist: She asked him to tell her! In the words of Albus Dumbledore, "Ah, to be young and feel love's keen sting."
Game of Thrones returns to HBO on April 14. Season 8 will consist of just six episodes, most of them directed by showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff.
Before then, Harington voices dragon hunter Eret in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, which opens in theaters everywhere Feb. 22.
