Feel the love in first trailer for Big Mouth Valentine's Day special on Netflix
Big Mouth is following in the footsteps of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina with its own holiday-themed special after the new season has already aired. Since Big Mouth is all about puberty and sex, the animated Netflix comedy will not be celebrating Christmas, but Valentine's Day.
The premise is simple: It's Valentine's Day at Bridgeton Middle School, and our hormonally developing cast of characters are grappling with who they'll be asking to the annual love-themed dance. The special is titled "My Furry Valentine," a reference to the hairy Hormone Monsters that follow the protagonists around and offer lewd asides about humanity's carnal desires.

If you'll recall, Nick Burch (Nick Kroll) got the female Hormone Monster (Maya Rudolph) in Season 2, and Andrew Glouberman (John Mulaney) is trying to win over the affections of Missy Foreman-Greenwald (Jenny Slate). Then there's Coach Steve (also voiced by Kroll), who will be celebrating the holiday with a girlfriend made out of inanimate objects.
Big Mouth also stars the voice talents of Jessi Klein, Jason Mantzoukas, Fred Armisen, Jordan Peele, Richard Kind, Gina Rodriguez, Kat Dennings, Andrew Rannells, Paul Scheer, Craig Robinson, Zach Woods, and Rosa Salazar.
"My Furry Valentine" premieres on Netflix February 8.
