Will Mawinhawken be saved?
It's been quite a journey, folks. Season 1 of SYFY's Day of the Dead comes to a thrilling conclusion on Friday, Dec. 17 at 10/9c, and we have an exclusive sneak peek that'll satisfy your zombie-like hunger until then. Mawinhaken is a guts-filled mess and the evil Cleargenix corporation is out to kill every remaining survivor of the undead invasion, so it's up to our fearless protagonists to swoop in and save the day. The only problem? Well, they may or may not be taking refuge in a downtrodden Paymart superstore – which is where our video takes place.
"Everything in me is telling me to get you boys out of Mawinhaken," Mayor Bowman says to Cam and her son, Luke. "Mom, we're 18," Luke responds. "If we're old enough to vote for who runs this town, we’re old enough to save it."
Will they save Mawinhaken? Or will Cleargenix prevail? What about all of those zombies? And what about Cam and Lauren's burgeoning romance?
