Batman Day brings Kevin Conroy's Dark Knight to your GPS as you cruise around Gotham

The Batman Batmobile

Fans will have to way a little longer to see DC's new cinematic version of the Dark Knight in The Batman next October, but they can still get their fix of Bruce Wayne thanks to the annual celebration of Batman Day. This year's iteration still offers up comic sales, new merch, and new digital experiences for all things Gotham, but turns fans' cars into Batmobiles thanks to a very special voice: Kevin Conroy.

The longtime Wayne actor — most notably for Batman: The Animated Series — will be providing his voice to GPS app Waze (alongside The Riddler voice actor Wally Wingert) to make any city feel like Gotham. The promo (available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese - though the English-speaking actors presumably only voiced the English version) runs from August 31 to October 31, allowing users to select either Batman or Riddler directions, along with a Batmobile icon and Batman design.

Don't drive? Don't want your transportation experience to feel like racing a supervillain against the clock? Not to worry, there's still plenty left for the celebration. With DIY mask instructions, a virtual 5K/10K charity run that costs $40 but offers plenty of Batman running gear, DC Universe Online exclusives, and free digital comics (including the first chapters of Batman: Curse of the White Knight and Batman Tales: Once Upon a Crime as well as Batman: The Adventures Continue #1), there's plenty of opportunity to find the right Bat-stuff.

Fans can also expect comic sales, Batman LEGO sets, SpinMasters, and Funkos, and inescapable Batman branding on streaming services. Batman Day is on Sept. 19 and more information can be found here.
