Hawkeye to Cowboy Bebop: All the sci-fi TV and movies streaming in November 2021

November looks loaded with big sci-fi, big superheroes and... a Big Red Dog.

Cowboy Bebop Showrunner Digs Into How 'Cowboy With a Broken Heart' Tale Drives Netflix Series

Netflix is bringing the big guns this week, with massive franchises and star-studded action — while Disney+ has its latest buzz-worthy Marvel series just in time for the holiday season. Plus Wheel of Time spins onto Amazon Prime and plenty more options across HBO Max, Peacock, Hulu, Apple and more.

Let's break it all down.

Disney+ continues to dominate with its massive library of intellectual property, with the latest big drop coming in the MCU original Hawkeye series starring Jeremy Renner and a boatload of recent Disney hits joining the wider catalog. Netflix is also locked and loaded, with the action heist flick Red Notice (starring trio of A-listers Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson) and the long-awaited Cowboy Bebop live action series.

Amazon Prime's offering are more quality than quantity this month, led by the ambitious Wheel of Time fantasy adaptation. Peacock has the new original movie Psych 3, plus the ongoing original thriller The Lost Symbol. Paramount Plus has the hybrid release of Clifford the Big Red Dog and a new season of Star Trek: Discovery; HBO Max has the Season 3 finale of Doom Patrol; and Apple TV+ has the new Tom Hanks sci-fi flick Finch.

Check out the full rundown below.

NETFLIX

HIGHLIGHTS

Red Notice: One of Netflix's most star-studded films arrives with Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds all sharing top billing in this globe-trotting, action heist thriller. The story follows an FBI profiler chasing the world's most-wanted art thief. It looks big-budget and a lot of fun — a throwback to the old, flashy blockbusters of yesteryear.

Cowboy Bebop: It's been a long road, but Cowboy Bebop has finally landed in live action. John Cho leads a diverse cast in this space-faring adaptation of the acclaimed anime about a rag-tag team of space bounty hunters on the prowl for the next gig.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation: Part 2: Kevin Smith's animated continuation of the classic He-Man universe returns. The first batch of episodes threw some creative twists at fans, focusing not on He-Man but many of the heroes around him. Part 1 ended on one major cliffhanger, so expectations should be high to see where the story goes next.

DISNEY PLUS

Hawkeye: Series Premiere: Jeremy Renner reprises his Avengers role as Clint Barton, training up a new hero in Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop. The miniseries seems to draw a good bit of inspiration from Matt Fraction's acclaimed comic run, which followed Hawkeye during the parts of his life when he wasn't off saving the world with Earth's Mightiest Heroes. This series has a bit of a holiday vibe for good measure — it should be a great way to kick off the Christmas season.

Marvel Studios' 2021 Disney+ Day Special: We don't know much about this, but it's part of Disney's Disney+ Day celebration. So most likely we'll get some first looks at upcoming Marvel dare on Disney+, and who knows, maybe even some announcements or reveals?
