We expect that you’re still nursing your wounds from last week. Don’t worry, so is everyone else.
26619
And some are really quite shell-shocked.
26621
Of course, just when Kenzi needs some TLC, a new character, Rosette, comes barging onto the scene, pledging her fealty to Bo and naming her Queen.
26622
Meanwhile, Lauren is reading up on Reiner, who is slowly bleeding back into the history books, and nothing they have to say about him is all too friendly.
26623
And she overhears the Morrigan plotting with none other than Trick about how Bo must be taken care of given the circumstances...
26624
As it turns out, there was a failsafe built into Reiner’s curse. He will die in less than 7 days unless his curse is undone once more with Trick's blood. Luckily for him, Trick's blood happens to flow through Bo’s veins.
26625
As Bo and Reiner investigate how to break this next layer of his curse, Lauren barges in to warn Bo that history remembers her new beau none too kindly.
26626
Rebuffed by Bo, Lauren heads to the only place she feels welcome anymore.
26627
And boy oh boy does it feel good to be dark!
26628
While Lauren takes out her frustrations on Evony, Kenzi calls up the only guy she knows unscrupulous enough to help her enact a revenge killing.
26629
But is sent reeling when Vex reveals himself as Massimo’s adoptive father, affectionately called “Vexy”
26630
Speaking of getting revenge, it’s time to check in on Lauren and Evony.
26631
Looks like Lauren dabbed some potion (made from Evony’s own DNA – remember the plastic lips Lauren peeled off after their first kiss?) where the sun don’t shine, and when it touched the Morrigan’s lips she became human, and therefore unable to melt Lauren with a glance as portrayed in the accompanying image.
26632
Unsurprisingly, Evony is pissed about her latest transformation, and her newfound defenselessness.
26633
But it turns out that Lauren only smacked her around a bit for science! Regardless of the outcome this little trick will make Lauren even more of a marvel in the medical community, but Evony’s blood will either take to the mutation or reject it, killing her within an hour. Set the clock.
26634
Distraught, Evony turns to the only person that she knows will still be loyal to her – her son.
26635
Meanwhile, Tamsin explains the crest of the Queen – Bo’s quest and it’s place in a great prophecy that seems to call Bo out as the chosen savior of the Fae and all of her friends and lovers have a roll to play.
26636
Except for Kenzi, who is conspicuously absent from the prophecy and asks Bo to unclaim her as she is clearly not meant to be a part of Bo’s life as the chosen one.
26637
So, Bo pays a visit to the prophesied Maidens of the Horse who will do anything to stop her from releasing Reiner from his curse.
26638
Unfortunately for them, Bo doesn’t roll without protection.
26639
Elsewhere, Massimo has gotten his clutches on Lauren and reveals that he had been in possession of the Origin seed all along. He consumes it, believing that the Twig of Zamora will sustain him and falls to the ground gasping and flailing.
26640
And if that wasn’t sudden enough for you. It turns out that Bo’s about to break Reiner’s curse by marrying him! Just don’t tell Lauren and Dyson, ok?
26642
That’s right, this whole ordeal was orchestrated by the Perepice, an entity of pure evil who also holds the honor of fathering everyone’s favorite succubus. And how did he repay Rosette for her loyal service? You’re looking at it.
