Meet Ianca. She is an avian Fae with a powerful voice. The members of her race are resigned to their position as baubles in the menageries of rich and powerful Fae, but Ianca is sick and tired of being a caged bird!
26772
Who’s the first Fae you turn to when you feel like bucking the system? You guessed it!
26773
Meanwhile, Evony shows Lauren that even the Dark Fae have casual Friday.
26774
Bo probably wouldn’t be too thrilled to learn how closely Lauren is fraternizing with the Morrigan, but her mind is elsewhere right now.
26775
Back in the A story, Ianca demonstrates her power on Bo.
26776
Causing her to flashback to her time on the spectral express.
26777
Ianca informs Bo of a note that she had hidden in the hilt of her knife, explaining that Bo and Ianca have met before, and that Bo has pledged to help her escape her master.
26778
Her master who happens to be an unpleasant, selfish, and stubborn Fae who wishes to be the only person for whom Ianca can sing. Which is starving Ianca, as she feeds off of her audience.
26779
To make matters worse, Marcus, the leader of a noble Fae family whose battle prowess is bolstered by Ianca’s songs has come to kidnap her, clamping her into captivity with a necklace of Atlantean Quartz.
26781
Like a good sidekick, Kenzi is there…and a bit blindsided to find Evony in Lauren’s living room.
26782
Proving he’s not just abs and snarls, Dyson tinkers together a spying device, and he and Bo learn that Ianca and Marcus are actually lovers, and her Atlantean quartz necklace had been neutralized all along.
26783
Turns out the love was a bit one-sided, and Marcus was really interested in Ianca for her ability to sing a Death Note that he could weild against his enemies.
26784
But he hadn’t factored in the possibility that she might turn against him.
26785
Unfortunately for Ianca, she was running on half-charged batteries, and singing the Death Note took the life out of him. So, she dies in Bo’s arms, but at least she died free.
26786
Elsewhere, Hale attends to Kenzi whose proximity to the Death Note rattled her human constitution.
26787
She’s very appreciative.
26789
Serious Romance.
26790
But it looks like Lauren’s dalliance with the Dark may be a bit more calculated than it appears.
26770
And Bo discovers that her alignment with the Dark isn’t the only major life decision that was made for her during her disappearance.
26791
Oh, and all this activity seems to have aroused the Una Mens! Yikes!
