Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls: Get comfortable, because this is the Zombie episode of Lost Girl.
26645
After being saved from a Fae Zombie – called a Revenant – by Acacia, the Valkyrie bounty huntress, Bo and Tamsin get to work questioning their friend as to why she hadn't been disemboweled by her boss, the wanderer.
26643
And so the three go off in search of whoever sent the undead, with the Valkyries insisting that Reiner is behind everything.
26646
At least they know they’re headed in the right direction.
26647
And the cavalry arrives just in the knick of time!
26648
Meanwhile, Kenzi is visited by the most gruesome beasts she could imagine – her family!
26649
And Acacia gets down to business by politely asking a local necromancer to assist in their search for the master of the revenant.
26650
Naturally, in order to do so, he must drink the zombie’s blood. Sounds reasonable enough to us.
26651
But the blood test reveals Acacia to be in control of the zombie horde. Ruh-Roh!
26652
So they turn to a priestess who claims to have all of the answers, but attacks the group instead because she believes that Bo can lead her to the now super-charged origin seed.
26653
Back at home base, Hale reveals that he called Kenzi’s family so that they could witness him propose.
26654
Except, they flub it up when they reveal that they only made an appearance because Hale was paying them to pretend to give a darn about Kenzi.
26655
While Kenzi nurses her wounds, Bo and the gang are faced with a betrayal when the necromancer reveals himself to be the Voodoo priestess’ maker, for she too is a Revenant.
26656
And she’s called all of her lackeys to join the party.
26657
But her moment of triumph is cut short.
26659
And, being the sort of upstanding succubus that she is, Bo sends them all to rest in peace.
26660
Now that the dust has settled, Bo and Tamsin examine Reiner’s face as it appears within the blank pages of a historic text. It would seem that the wanderer is being rewritten into history, but there’s one small snag. If the man with Reiner’s face isn’t the wanderer who hired Tamsin, then who is?
26661
Despite the unanswered mysteries, Kenzi and Bo still get to have a moment to squeel over her impending nuptials.
26662
And Tamsin gets to celebrate the possibilities of Bo’s latest romantic allegiances.
26663
But things can’t end on such a high note this deep into the season.
26664
Massimo has come to get revenge on Bo, but not before Hale can blow him into oblivion!
26665
Wait, that wasn’t supposed to happen!
26666
Protected by the twig of Zamora, an artifact he acquired from Kenzi herself, Massimo lays a death blow on Hale and leaves Kenzi to wallow in the consequences of past actions.
26667
When Bo arrives home, Kenzi demands that she use her human chi to revive Hale, but it’s all to no avail. We’ll let that sink in until next week.
