Bo and the gang open the episode contemplating what to do with her latest acquisition.
26692
And before they can come to a consensus the succubus goes ahead and opens the jar. It's her story, and she'll do what she wants after all.
26693
In doing so, she released a crow Fae by the name of Hugin who offers to return Bo to the wanderer's train if she will assist him in taking revenge on his wife and brother for cuckolding him. The catch – Bo must come alone.
26694
Dyson doesn't like the sound of any of this, so he grabs the necessary equipment and heads out hoping he'll be in time to provide some necessary backup.
26695
And Lauren isn't far behind with the "science stuff".
26696
But Dyson would like for her to have a knife, just in case. It's their way of expressing solidarity.
26698
It's not long before Hugin's brother, Munin, and his hench-crows make an appearance.
26699
Even the unfaithful wifey is on hand.
26700
And it isn't long before Bo realizes she's fallen into a trap.
26701
Which leaves her with one option…falling into a grave.
26702
Meanwhile, Trick visits a truth sensing Fae to attempt to coax out whatever knowledge of the wanderer he has repressed.
26703
She starts out with the easy questions like "Why did you choose my sister over me?" and then moves onto the stuff that has Trick convulsing and speaking in tongues and declaring that he wrote Reiner – the name of Bo's Dark Fae sponsor – out of history entirely.
26704
It's not pretty…
26705
Under the earth, an old woman called The Leviathan, attempts to take Bo's soul, but is thwarted by the mysterious hand-shaped mark on her chest.
26706
Back above ground, Tamsin and Kenzi are searching for clues regarding Trick's uncooperativeness and the true nature of the wanderer. After finding a blank book in which Trick used to write as the Blood King, they think that he may have hidden an emergency supply of his blood within the mysterious tamatebako box.
26707
The Box is an ancient Japanese relic that can be opened an infinite number of ways, but only one method will reveal its prize while every other is booby trapped. Of course Kenzi and Tamsin dive right in!
26708
Bo beats The Leviathan after exchanging riddles in the dark. But the crone leaves with haunting parting words.
26709
She revels in the knowledge that someone Bo loves will be dying shortly before sending the succubus back to her crow problem.
26710
Bo's about to enter a 1 on 8 battle, but a few friends swing by to even the odds!
26711
But the only thanks they get for the assist is to be left standing in the forest alone as Bo heads off with the crows who have solemnly sworn to deliver her to the wanderer's train unharmed.
26712
Back at the Dal, Kenzi and Tamsin have found Tricks blood supply, and decide to do a little finger-painting with the magical ink.
26713
Kenzi writes Bo as Tamsin grasps the book and enters a trance.
26714
She re-lives the moment when Trick wouldn’t let her spirit a warrior's soul off to Valhala; a soul belonging to a man named Reiner.
26715
On the train, Bo finds herself face-to-face with a handsome stranger.
26716
They scuffle.
26717
But surprisingly things turn friendly. Bo brings him back to the Dal and introduces him as Reiner, her destiny.
