WARNING: If you don't want to know what happened in this episode, don't read this photo recap!
On his way out of the Guild, the Voice of Rao is killing anyone who gets in his way, and sucking up their lifeforce while he's at it.

Meanwhile, Jax-Ur, leader of Black Zero, is busy interrogating Daron-Vex. For what purpose, we don't yet know. But she's got a bone to pick with her former guild-mate, and she's going to torture him until that bone is picked clean.
383650
Also, Lyta and her son go spelunking down the tunnels again in order to lay their hands on Doomsday, which they can use to vanquish Brainiac.
383651
Lyta and General Zod have found the security lock installed by Val, and able to be opened only by an El. Seg and Jayna arrive to stop General Zod from attempting it. But surprise surprise, General Zod's father is Seg… and he's got El blood running through his veins. Open sesame.
383652
But check this: Seg, after Jayna's recommendation, has already released Doomsday, placing it far from General Zod's clutches. Oh snap! Dad tricks!
383653
So, back to torture. Jax-Ur was on the science guild, and she had a pretty high position. That is until Daron-Vex started offing the intelligentsia, and she took her research and went underground. Another thing: Daron-Vex is working on something called the "bioradical" and she wants it.
383654
And Doomsday? He's in this container. But when they moved it, they compromised its security. The big boy's going to hatch soon.
383655
Jayna is keeping General Zod under arrest, so that he doesn't succeed in finding and loosing Doomsday on Krypton prematurely. He sees this as self-defeating, and Lyta doesn't want either of them to kill each other. Too late: General Zod challenges his grandmother to a duel in the old tradition.
383656
Daron-Vex manages to escape his torture cell, barter for a skinner, and pilot it out of Kandor and to…
383657
During the duel, Jayna undoubtedly had the upper hand. She was about to use that hand to strangle General Zod to death when Lyta was forced to intervene. And shoot her mom in the side.
383658
Ah, remember that little device Jax-Ur was using to torture Daron-Vex? Well, turns out it has a really long range. She activates it from the underground lair, and sends him into paroxysms, and he crashes his vehicle into a snowbank.
383659
In the Fortress of Solitude, Seg and Nyssa, with Val's help, get to brainstorming their next move. They deduce that Brainiac will be going after the second most active power generator on Krypton: the one behind the protective dome. If that goes down, s*** will hit the fan. So they split up to recruit a defense force.
383660
An injured Jayna crawled to relative safety in the catacombs before ultimately passing out. She was found by a man who presumably knows her, and he whisks her away.
383661
Seg leads a combined team of Sagitari, Black Zero, and other hodgepodge revolutionaries into the Voice of Rao's innersanctum in order to disturb his peace (forever). He's been expecting them though.
383662
Aha! The Voice of Rao uses his telekinesis to literally turn the factions against each other. Suspicious of the other, they open fire, and their unified revolt is foiled.
383663
As his final move, the Voice of Rao levitates Seg over the abyss above Kandor, and prepares to drop him like a hot potato (or whatever they eat on Krypton — hot goo?). That's when…
383665
And it turns out that saving someone's life does wonders for one's sex life.
383666
Unfortunately, it has absolutely no affect on a power shortage that causes the protective dome over a city to retract, leaving the cosmopolis and its people completely vulnerable to extraterrestrial attack.
