Emme has a panic attack about Flynn's motorcycle accident and runs to the garage for a paper clip so she can cut herself. She finds some classified files about Abby and the Hunters. Uh-oh.

Flynn hits rock bottom as he begs Briggs to kill him. Luckily, Jackson shows up and gives him a reason to live ...

Back at the ETU, Finnerman has sent Regan off to find Liana, her mom and Musa's right hand woman in exchange for her dad being released. Finnerman tells Regan's dad that if he doesn't cooperate and help translate Hunter transmissions, she'll harm Regan. She's such a delicate flower.

Regan asks her father Ted about Viktor Karp, who was moving lithium out of the mine he ran with Regan's mother Liana. Ted says he never met him or dealt with him -- that was Liana's job.

Down in Mexico, Regan meets with Viktor Karp, claiming she's quit the ETU and asking to see Liana. Viktor takes a blood sample from her for some unknown reason.

From her holding cell at Viktor Karp's compound, Regan sees the Hunters preparing to send a giant ass missile (or something that looks a lot like one) to Musa.

Mother-daughter reunion time! At first it's all "I love you" / "I love you too" with Liana and Regan, and then comes the girlfight.

Regan pulls a gun out of the hole in her back (!) and blasts her mom with it. A new level of fierceness.

The fight goes from interior to exterior. These two haven't seen each other in ten years ... and Mom's none too happy that Regan is more human than Hunter at this point.

The daughter-mother fight ends on the road, with Regan jumping on an approaching truck before Liana can shoot her. Whew!

Back to planning for The Purge! Liana threatens to tear off Sterling Martinez's face if he doesn't start figuring out how to revert Hunters to their native forms.

And figures it out he does! Thanks to the work of Sterling Martinez, a Hunter completely reverts to its native form. It's gorgeous.

Back at the ETU, Ted claims that as long as he's alive, Regan is in danger as the ETU will keep using them against each other. He takes his own life to protect his daughter. Dad!!
