WARNING: If you don't want to know what happens in this episode, don't read this photo recap!
The ETU can't do an autopsy on Abby's body until it thaws, so for now it's impossible to determine whether this is actually Abby -- Flynn's wife -- or if Abby was a Hunter and made herself look like this person. Flynn is heartbroken any way you shake it.
200217
Baltimore, 2010: Flynn first meets Abby in a bar where he had been attempting to drink away his war memories. Who (or what) is this pretty baseball fan?
200218
Flynn tells Emme that Abby's dead. Emme refuses to believe it ... because she was with Abby yesterday at a coffee shop in D.C. What?!
200219
Jackson, Jules and Regan listen to a recording of McCarthy's female companion Tasha, who's speaking Romanian. Regan is still enraged over what McCarthy did to Tasha's baby.
200220
Flynn heads to D.C. and tracks down could-be-Abby, who's looking very Hitchcockian Blonde-ish. It looks like she's got a beau, too, whom the ETU identifies as Richard Seraphin, Director of Global Asset Management at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
200221
Regan gives herself a sonic treatment, defying Jackson's wishes. She needs something to take the edge off these rampant Hunter urges!
200222
Maybe a little too much edge, as Regan takes a bullet in the shoulder as the ETU apprehends Seraphin.
200223
Meanwhile, Flynn and Abby get into it in her hotel room. He's pretty pissed about six years of marriage to a woman who kept her secret identity from him ... and she wants the suitcase that was apprehended with Seraphin. It's chock fulla cash!
200224
In a flashback, we see the Hunter who's assumed Abby's identity practicing for her new role, learning to play the piano and boning up on Flynn, whom she will soon seduce in the Baltimore bar. The body of the 'real' Abby is in the freezer just out of frame.
200225
Briggs and Jackson interrogate Seraphin, a human who's laundered a ton of drug money for the Hunters. He refers to Abby as 'Erica' and, yeah, he's sleeping with her.
200226
Flynn tries to disarm Abby and a husband-wife fight ensues. Abby's got the upperhand until Flynn fires her pistol near her sensitive Hunter ears.
200227
After all that excitement, it's time for a flashback to calmer times as Abby and Flynn settle into domestic bliss. Actually, Abby's having a bit of a hard time settling - her Hunter rage tends to make short work of Flynn's punching bags.
200228
The sex was pretty good, though ... as were the post-coital conversations about Flynn's harrowing misadventures in Afghanistan.
200229
Flynn has finally accepted the truth: His wife is an alien from outer space. Abby swears she didn't kill Flynn's partner, Kevin, but admits that she was stealing info on drug investigations from him and funneling it to McCarthy. McCarthy's the one who killed Kevin.
200230
Apparently the creepy hooded ghouls we've been seeing are 'Feelers,' Brother Number Four's eyes and ears. They've come for Flynn and Abby.
200231
Abby tells Flynn to shoot her and make a run for it so it looks like he overpowered her and escaped, but Flynn refuses. Abby persuades him by saying it was actually she who killed Kevin ... and that she never really loved him anyway. A gunshot heard from the hallway implies that she was successful.
200232
Jackson tells Seraphin that he's been sleeping with and laundering money for slimy aliens and demands that he give him all of his records, bank account info, e-mails and passwords. As the drug in his coffee illicits hallucinations and confessions, Seraphin complies.
200233
Flynn tells Emme that the Abby they knew is gone, and they need to let her go. They memorize the Five Stages of Grief together.
200234
The Feelers return to Brother Number Four (seen for the first time!). He puts his hands into the gaping maws in their chests, through which he's able to see what happened to Abby ...
200235
Oof. It doesn't look good. But then again, looks can be deceiving when it comes to Abby ...
