Excelsior Springs, Missouri, was once believed to be a place of healing because of its natural springs. Many sick and desperate would come to the area for healing, but would die instead. TAPS is investigating the local Elms Resort and Spa, which has paranormal activity believed to be associated with these deaths. Did we mention an 8-foot tall apparition? This is a serious haunting.

Keith Winge has called in TAPS because workers and guests alike are more afraid than relaxed at his 100-year-old resort spa. People have seen a man in white, heard voices, splashes from an empty pool that was built in what once served as a speak easy during the prohibition. Yes, that means Al Capone was a visitor and yes, someone got whacked on the premises, according to locals. People have also been pushed, have seen shadows, reflections, indentations on the bed and so on.

Guests have had spirits walk around their beds and make unusual noises. In the Truman suite, Keith himself has experienced activity: he was awakened by what sounded like construction noises in the living room. The good news is the TAPS team will be sleeping in the Inn, so they can continue their investigation after they go to bed.

Steve and Tango share some laughs like the old days, but get serious about the debunking. They realize that the 'man in white' is really a pepper's ghost illusion caused by reflections and lights.

Jason reports on his investigation of the spa with Steve. But he can't even finish without being interrupted by a screaming noise. Even the cameraman heard it! It was a long, howling scream.
24326
Near the guest rooms, Adam and Amy's shadow detector keeps going off when there's no one around. Then they hear noises- they sound like the shadow detector- but the beeps are coming from far away. Is the spirit mimicking their sounds? It's a new experience for both investigators.
24327
Britt has equipment that will alarm if the water in the spa pool moves. How cool! Then the shadow detector goes off. Then the water detector alarms start ringing. This is the perfect time to take the investigation further, says Britt, as he hops in the pool for an EMF sweep.
24328
Debunking the debunk? Tango and Steve are certain they can get the ballroom chandelier to break by walking heavily on the floor above. Nope! The claim stands! Oh wait, the air conditioning vents point directly at the chandeliers and BAM! The light fixture starts shaking and swaying. Claim debunked!

A massive thunderstorm moves in, and the energy levels are peaking near the guest rooms. Britt and Michelle set a geophone up and it is dancing! The REM pod, the shadow detector, all the equipment is beeping and buzzing! Then there's a noise coming from the room. It sounds like an...elephant? Hmmm
24330
The team shuts down for the night, and each investigator gets to sleep in the most haunted rooms in the hotel. With their handheld devices running, who knows what evidence they'll capture in their sleep!
24331
In reviewing the evidence, there's a lot of similarities in experiences. Two teams caught doors banging in the same exact way! Michelle's overnight camera caught a strange noise and was trying to refocus its lens on something… but what?
24332
Jason and Steve share the evidence: a female voice they recorded, the experiences with the doors on the 5th floor, a heavy breath and moan that Amy and Adam heard, plus all the personal experiences. There IS a lot of activity going on in the hotel, but the team agrees that it is not hostile so no one should be afraid.
