Warning: If you don't want to know what happened in this episode, don't read this photo recap!
Detroit, Michigan is the home of Motown, motor vehicles and…ghosts. During this episode, the Ghost Hunters investigate The Whitney, a restaurant which operates in what was once the home of David and Sarah Whitney, who both passed away in the house. Later, it was sold to a nursing care facility where several people passed away. So the paranormal encounters come from many directions.

David Whitney was a lumber baron and the wealthiest man in Detroit when he built the house. But the spirit activity in the now restaurant has been so dramatic that owners Bub and Patrick Liebler (father and son) are losing employees who are afraid to come to work!

Bud and Patrick tell the team claims that include: a phantom woman wandering the second floor and a sighting of Mr. Whitney sitting at the bar. Also, footsteps, voices and other unusual noises have been heard. People also feel sudden winds, objects are moved in the basement without explanation, and an elevator in the building seems to have a mind of its own. The gentlemen believe it is the Whitney family but would like to know for sure.

One employee recalls cleaning the dining room and turning to see a woman watching him. She was older. Wearing her hair in a bun and a white dress.
203694
Other employees have seen a man walking the second floor, and a little girl twirling at the top of the stairs.
203695
Most disturbing was the female customer who had a conversation with the lovely bathroom attendant in the ladies room. Only...there are no bathroom attendants at the Whitney. She had been alone in there! Shivers, anyone?
203696
The restaurant and nearby carriage house are both expansive, but the team has managed to get camera coverage of all the important angles.
203697
KJ and Dustin start in the basement while Sam and Shari investigate the second floor. Both teams try to reach out to the Whitneys, but don't get any initial responses. Patience is a key part of any investigation.

Jason finds an unusual button in the wall. No way. Is it possible?...
203699
It is! A secret passage button. This is the stuff paranormal investigator dreams are made of. So cool! And it turns out the faux wall is hiding a safe. What other secrets is this house hiding?
203700
Dustin hears something knocking on the back of this door. But there's nothing hanging there or even close by that could cause the sound. Oh. Wait. There's a padlock hanging there.
203701
Jason and Steve have figured out that the elevator doors open every five minutes on whatever floor the elevator is on. So let's put our fears of the haunted elevator to bed.
203702
The tea set seems to be a source of contention for the spirits of the Whitney. Sam decides to move the set around to see if she can drum up a paranormal reaction.
203703
There was a clear sound of footsteps and a strong reaction in the REM pod when Dustin and KJ moved Grace Whitney's tea set. Of course, they put it back where she wanted it.
203704
Jason discovers another hidden storage area in a hallway bench. It seems the hollowed bench allows draft air to come through. Could this explain the breeze phenomena that is such a concern to Patrick?
203705
What is that? Tango sees something, and his cameraman is equally stunned. A light figure waltzing down the staircase?
203706
Tango is bummed that none of the team's cameras picked up his floating light bubble. BUT…the Whitney security camera was able to provide footage of the two men having the experience.
203707
In the reveal, Jason and Steve show the clients all the evidence. This includes a voice of a woman caught on tape when KJ and Dustin moved the tea set. It's relieving to Bud and Patrick that TAPS could validate their concerns, and they are comfortable that they are sharing space with ghosts that love the house but mean no harm.
