Military forts are a favorite investigation site for Ghost Hunters. Between the death and destruction of war and the tragedies that surround these old stone buildings, there are always spirits to be found. Tonight, the team tries their luck at Fort Tabor and Fort Rodman in New Bedford, Massachusetts. (PS: This is Steve's home town!)

This investigation will cover three unique areas: the fort, the museum and the battery, called the Milliken. These sites have always been known for paranormal activity. But experiences have been on the rise since operators began having pirating reenactments on the campus.

Visitors and employees are frightened, and the client, Robert wants to ease some of their fears. Every time he has a living history reenactment, he gets all kinds of paranormal reports. Could these events be stirring up emotions from the other side?

Some history: In the 1700s, New Bedford was home to some of the colony's pirates and privateers. Privateering was so successful that in the 1780's the British Navy attacked Fort Bedford right where the Fort sits today! Three colonists were killed and the town was burned to the ground.

It wasn't until 1857 that the Fort was constructed to protect the harbor. The Civil War prompted the building of smaller, temporary forts until finally the main fortification was built and named Fort Rodman after Lt. Col. William Logan Rodman, who was killed in action. During World War I it was used for convalescing veterans. One mason was killed during the construction, and many soldiers died of the Spanish flu during the World War.

Reviewing the claims, a young woman reports seeing three men in redcoats walking towards her. Another girl chased a shadow, but then fell and broke her leg. Coincidence? People are creeped out and see figures in the museum, and have heard the sound of a falling book.

The new security cameras picked up an image of a white outline walking through the museum. That freaked some people out! People have seen a soldier, heard voices and large explosions and a mysterious shimmering man has appeared. Roger hopes TAPS will be able to figure out who is behind this activity.

The team is investigating an extensive area and the buildings are far apart. So there are lots of GoPros and other cameras set up. Oh, and it's raining. Great for spirits, tough on investigators!
204167
Dustin and K.J. look for signs of activity in the artillery battery. The place is like a funhouse with long and creepy corridors. But they don't pick up anything paranormal.
204168
Sam and Tango speculate that perhaps the light from the windows cast different shadows on the mannequins, which some might perceive to be apparitions. Through some solid debunking, they are also able to recreate the banging noises people have claimed to hear.
204169
Sam is on a debunking roll! She and Shari are investigating claims that people feel they are being watched in the museum. Sam suspects it's because there are so many photographs of faces on the walls.
204170
Dustin and K.J. attempt to reach the spirits from the highest point on the fort- the lighthouse. They get a nice noise in response.
204171
Jason and Steve figure out that the model planes hanging from the museum ceiling sometimes move because the fan is on. That's what is tripping the motion sensors, so the claim is not proven to be paranormal.
204172
The team had put glow sticks on the ledge around the fort to prevent anyone from falling in the dark. But now Tango and Sam are using it to see if any figures pass over the lights. Smart move!
204173
It seems cobwebs are messing up the views on the security cameras. Could that be what caused the client to see movement in their video footage?
204174
The EMF levels around the tank are high, but Steve figures it is a mechanical issue. He and Tango are convinced that the young woman's claim of seeing apparitions in uniform was just a trick of the eyes.
204175
Since the paranormal activity has increased whenever pirate reenactments are done at the fort, Dustin hopes his best pirate impersonation will get the spirits excited.
204176
During the analysis, Tango says he never felt threatened during the investigation. However, in the Milliken he felt genuinely creeped out. Reviewing the footage the team picks up a gasping noise and a wheezing sound.
204177
Roger sits through the presentation of evidence and debunking. There are several recordings of voices that are stunning! There are no patterns in the evidence as to who is here, but there is also no evidence of malicious intents. So the mystery continues...
