Warning: If you don't want to know what happened in this episode, don't read this photo recap!
The Midwest Railway Preservation Society in Cleveland, Ohio is dealing with more than just trains. They've called in TAPS to help them deal with the spirits from the railway's torrid history of suicides and serial killers.
203322
This working rail yard saw multiple gruesome accidents and has a history of suicide by train.
203323
Most disturbing of all is that this rail yard was the dumping ground for the "Cleveland Torso Murderer"! He murdered and dismembered at least 12 victims in the area in a case that was investigated by Eliot Ness. The killer was never caught, but many believed he was a railroad worker.
203324
Both Steve, a longtime employee, and John, who owns some of the old railway cars, called TAPS for help with apparitions, noises and bizarre occurrences. They really could use some help!
203325
One of the most dangerous jobs at the rail yard was the brake man, who had to walk on top of the train to manually apply the brake. Many times, he would fall off the train and be killed. Could it be a brake man that is causing mysterious rapping noises in the round house?
203326
This is the death car, so named after an accident in the 1940s in which 26 people were killed. Today, people see shadow figures, full bodied apparitions, windows that violently close on their own and a voice that yells "Get out!"
203327
In the Baxter Car people feel the presence of 4 or 5 male ghosts. Plus there may be a female apparition by bunk number 7, where a woman passed away. And there is also a male presence in the kitchen car.
203328
John would like to buy more cars from the rail yard, but the last car he purchased came with a ghost in it. He'd rather know that his next purchase is not haunted. In addition, Steve would like to put his crew at ease that the ghosts wont put them in any danger.
203329
KJ and Sam investigate the warehouse, pondering how people can sense a presence is male. They try to draw out the ghosts with tales of the Torso Murderer.
203330
Dustin sits back to listen to KJ in an effort to draw out an apparition who appeared during a lecture in the death car.
203331
In the death car, Jason and Steve see a black shadow darting by.
203332
KJ and Dave hear something knock on a nearby barrel.
203333
Dustin loves trains. But Shari has never even been on one. Given her first introduction is during a paranormal investigation, she may not acquire the same romantic sentiments towards the vehicles. Meanwhile, their EVP session result in some crazy noises coming from the rafters.
203334
KJ is able to get a reaction on the EMF device in the Baxter Car. Dustin wonders if the spirits in that car are unrelated to the death car or the serial killer. Or maybe they are asking the wrong questions?
203335
The guys find a vintage photo of workers, and their straw hats match those that people have claimed to see on the apparitions. Odds are good that the ghost is a former worker.
203336
Dustin, Shari and KJ hear footsteps coming from above in the kitchen. That's brake man territory, so could it be that there ARE ghosts walking above?
203337
Steve and Jason check out the claims of shadows and voices in the old locomotives.
203338
The evidence analysis picked up vocal tones on an EVP session in the roundhouse. There is also recorded evidence of knocking noises, footsteps and voices. The team was pleased to be able to confirm the experiences of their clients, and is able to assure them that there is no malicious intent driving these spirits. Let the trains roll on!
