Guest judge and award winner Valli O'Reilly stops by the lab to choose a winner for this week's Foundation Challenge. The artists are excited to meet her, but having such a big star judge your work always turns up the heat! Add that to the fact that the prize is immunity and you've got yourself a four-alarm blaze.

Valli found many great looks in this challenge, but Roy's work, which took dozens of tiny tumors and nasty teeth and turned them into a story, wins the prize.

If you had to guess which holiday these creators of monsters and aliens like best, what would you say? Yep, Halloween is a favorite almost across the board, which is why these guys are giddy that this week's challenge is to take a classic Halloween costume and put their own, original spin on it. They choose from clowns, vampires, skeletons, scarecrows, and devils.

Scott has been on bottom looks the past two weeks in a row, and it's not a place he wants to be again! Since he makes Halloween prosthetics for a living, he's feeling pretty good, but you never can tell what the judges are going to think.

Laney is super excited with her makeup from concept to application, but when she gets to last looks and sees that the clown's cotton candy hair is melting, she starts to panic. All through the judges' inspection, she's sure she's on bottom looks, but when she reaches the podium, they praise her! Ve especially loves the blonde armpit hair flying free.

Alana wanted to go for an albino devil since it's something she's never seen before, but when she reaches the application phase, she sees that the advice Mr. Westmore gave was on the nose, if you'll forgive the pun. Her character's nose looks more like the cat bunny that was a weak point for her last time she competed than the ram face that she was going for. She lands on bottom looks this week.

Miranda has spent much of this challenge worrying that her sculpture is awful - and driving Tate and Frank a little crazy in the process - but when she sees her completed makeup, she has to admit it's pretty cool! The rest of us were not surprised, Miranda.

Roy took an iridescent tack for his paint job this week and threw in some unusual sculptural shapes to complement it. The combo lands him in top looks - always icing on the cake when you have immunity!

Tate created this week's winner, with a gorgeous profile and exquisitely patterned flesh and bones. He accepts the award gracefully and keeps his head in the game!

Despite Scott's experience in this field - or maybe because of it - the judges think his work is a little off. The asymmetry of the sculpt and the odd paint job don't work for them, and he lands in bottom looks for the third time in a row.

Lyma's paint work still isn't up to the level it needs to be for this type of challenge, and her concept is a little weak as well. But it may have been the glowing eyes that fully underwhelmed the judges. Though she's come far since day 1, she's going home this week.
