Assassins made light work of the monks guarding the school, and are now headed for Saya. If they have to kill her friends in the process, so be it. Both Petra and Viktor are wounded in the melee.

The students make it back to the library and barricade the door as Viktor and Petra start to bleed out. In a callow move to save himself, Chico throws Jaden into the assassin’s path to buy time.

True to his ethos, Chico finds a way out - and bars the others from using it. If the assassins - Saya’s cousins - want Saya, they can have her, as far as he’s concerned.
