If you don't want to know what happened in this episode, don't read this photo recap!
We open on the inside of the spaceship that looks like the Nostromo from Alien, but with more flattering lighting.
160221
Our first character emerges! Let's call him First. Or, er, One.
160226
A gorgeous woman (we'll call her Two) emerges from her pod, smacks One across the face, beats the hell out of him and then pushes him out of the way like a pile of old newspapers. This is how to make an entrance.
160231
Four others wake up, memories wiped and discover that they're, indeed, on a spaceship. "It looks like we're dead in space," muses Two. Great.
160236
As their memories have been wiped clean, the crew decides that their names will be based on the order in which they awoke. From left to right: Two, Five, Six, Four, One, Three.
160241
Snow White, she ain’t. Meet The Android. She's fulla surprises!
160246
Four learns the hard way that if you mess with The Android, you get choked!
160251
After being reprogrammed to play nice, The Android tells Two that a vessel is heading straight towards them ... and has launched missiles that will hit them in 60 seconds. Oof.
160256
The ship's occupants lose gravity when The Android has to overtax its engine to evade the missile attack.
160261
Three finds the big metal door that Five saw in a vision. According to Five, "they" always keep the door locked in order to keep ominous secrets from being discovered.
160266
One finds a necklace with a unique pendant. It will no doubt be referenced in some near-future event.
160271
Sexual tension smolders as One opens the door in his boxer briefs and is greeted by a flirtatious yet shaming Two. She summons him to the cockpit for their descent into orbit ... and suggests he wears pants. Mixed signals!
160276
The ship's shuttle, the Marauder, lands in a potentially hostile mining community. But why have One through Six been sent there?
160281
The suspicious miners want to know who the visitors are and whether or not someone named "Rothgar" sent them. Unfortunately, the visitors haven't a clue (because, you know, they have no memories). After some initial tension, everyone eventually agrees to lower their weapons and go have drinks.
160286
The miners offer to help the crew re-fuel and re-stock but tell them they better get out of town before "The Raza" comes. The Raza is a gang of assassins (and, according to legend, half-man/half-reptiles) who have been hired by the evil Ferrous Corporation to kill everybody on the planet so they can take it over and exploit a nearby goldmine of terrium (which seems to be the futuristic equivalent of oil).
160291
One notices that one of the miners, Mireille, has the same necklace he found on the ship. She tells him that when they sent their friend Rothgar away to get weapons to help them fight The Raza, he told her that she'd knew if the people who returned were allies because they'd be wearing the same necklace. Huh!
160296
The crew debates whether to help the miners by giving them weapons or to get away ASAP to avoid the "scary lizard people."
160301
Thanks to some computer wizardry performed by The Android, the crew members learn their actual identities: They're all major criminals! And "The Raza" is not a race of aliens: it's the name of their ship! THEY'RE the scary lizard people sent to kill the miners!
