According to the Close Up Kings New York is known for its sites, the food, the culture and three magicians named Loki, Magick and Johnny. Aim high, right?

Following in the footsteps of their idol, the great Harry Houdini, this trio of artists prepare to take their act on road to show North America what NYC's finest are made of.

On the premier episode Loki, Magick and Johnny kick things off in Time Square by making a German tourist uncomfortable. Magick mentions to her that he got robbed 20 years ago on the very spot she’s standing. Uhhhk…
127116
But then he get to the magic (no pun intended) so everything’s okay again. He asks the once uncomfortable tourist to hold open a ski mask as he puts in his watch, his wallet and ring inside the hat. With the flick of his wrist, all of the valuables disappear from the hat and are magically back in his possession.
127121
The tourists are no longer uncomfortable. And neither are we.
127126
Later, the Close Up Kings head to the Houdini museum to get a little inspiration for their next big trick. We’re guessing they get a discount on admission since Magick works there!
127131
Like any good employee Magick shows his pals around the place and also shows them how the pocket clock works with a little trick that we’ll call “Divine Timing”. Hey-o!
127136
Loki and Johnny set the clock’s time while Magick turns his back without seeing what time the guys chose. Magick then reads the time with his mind and guesses correctly - it’s 4 o’clock! Who says a magician can’t fool other magicians - or something like that.
127141
Loki then pulls double duty at a local bar by performing magic and flirting. Original. He finds a willing participate to perform his “French Kiss” trick on. It involves the woman writing her name down on a playing card [hearts, no less] and then Loki writing his name down on a card and then they both put the cards in their mouths. Stay with us people…
127146
And then they kiss each other! After the smooch, they remove the cards from their mouths to reveal that they’ve magically swapped cards - and spit.
127151
Then, because Loki didn’t feel like kissing a stranger in a bar was adventurous enough for him, he heads to a junkyard to lock himself in the trunk of a car that’s about to be crushed by a bulldozer. Hmmm…what would Houdini do?
127156
Captive spectators (read: the yard workers) look on as Loki prepares to be crushed.
127161
With a medical team on standby Magick and Johnny wrap Loki up in 35 feet of chain, enclosed by four pad locks. He’ll have mere seconds to pick the lock set or he'll be junk yard scraps.
127166
Did he make it out in time?!
127171
Of course he did! And with that the Close Up Kings are off to prepare for their next adventure.
