Brianna catches a ride with an attorney on her way to Seattle for a court hearing — really? The lawyer makes a pit stop to pick up some gas from a friend.

When the attorney realizes her friend with the gas is dead, and her own car has a mile left in the tank, she blows her brains out in a rest area bathroom. One less driver on the road.

Pulling herself together, Brianna makes off with the lawyer’s smoking gun, and tries - unsuccessfully - to get the car to run on what little gas it has left.

Donny Chang, whom Matt knew from his high school football days, is acting a little strange ever since Karen and Josh shot down a Skin Walker on the side of the road.

On her travels, Brianna meets, or rather, is ambushed by Tatiana, who’s also en route to Seattle. Tatiana’s peace offering? Giving Brianna some water as she eyes Brianna's cell phone.

Karen gets a call from her sister Sally asking her to pick her up. These two might have beef with each other, and it’s rare they get along, but Karen’s act of kindness is well done (see what we did there?).

This is no time for games, Donny! At the same rest stop Brianna was at earlier, Donny decides that now is the perfect time for some pickup. Matt is a little off put and during their roughhousing Donny dislocates his shoulder.

Aunt Sally, a nurse, gets to setting Donny's dislocated shoulder (that was one serious tackle!) in the RV. The only thing is, when she shoves that bone back into the socket, Donny feels zero pain.

Meanwhile, anomalous solar flares are traveling to Earth, and screwing with the planet's electrical field. Kind of like if a lava lamp got freaky with a disco ball.

It's electric! The solar flares are touching off wiring in the RV, making it rain sparklers. And it's not even the Fourth of July.

Friends? Enemies? Enemies, for sure. When Brianna is struck by an electrical burst from a cell tower, Tatiana steals Brianna’s phone and makes sure that it will take her awhile to find it again…by pummeling Brianna’s head into the ground. A lot.

Like sister, like brother. When Donny runs away from the convoy, the suspicious Matt chases him down, confronts him, and then…this happens. But Donny wasn’t a Skin Walker after all. It turns out he was Schizophrenic. MAJOR mistake, Matt!

And Brianna, still separated from her family, receives a surprise visit from a giant creature who snatches a horse right in front of her eyes. Really, what in the hell is going on, people?
