WARNING: If you don't want to know what happened in this episode, don't read this photo recap!
When we return from where we left off, we're back in the same field that Wynonna woke up in, only now there's more excitement. Waverly and Wynonna attempt to vanquish the Widows and Bobo, but Peacemaker is proving futile against the dark ladies. Now that the last seal is broken, they're nigh invincible.
336543
Back at the Earp residence, Wynonna has the bright idea to somehow use the plate to restart the magical properties of Peacemaker. It glows a little bit, so it means she's in the right direction.
336544
Bobo finds the casket in which Sheriff Clootie is buried. He's willing to help the Widows exhume their husband's body knowing that Clootie can help save him from eternal hellfire and damnation. Fair trade. And Beth is getting some hot flashes.
336545
Mercedes, on the other hand, is having a change of heart. She's ready to put this whole sordid past behind her and enter the present. What better way to get rid of your baggage than by axing it?
336546
Then she makes a quick getaway out of the shaft, sets off an explosion that traps Bobo and Beth behind piles of rock and stone, and gets ready for a makeover! Old Widow, New Woman, Best Life. Here we go.
336547
Dolls finds Doc standing over the mouth of the well. The latter is having a tough time adjusting to mortality (who isn't though, right?), so the former needs to talk some much needed sense into him.
336548
Wynonna and Waverly bring the Iron Witch the plate and say, "Hey! Make something out of this!" Not in those words, but definitely that sentiment. The Iron Witch at first protests, but a gun in the face is hard to deny. She smelts the magic plate down into a single bullet, which Wynonna will need to discharge very carefully to send Clootie back into the ground for good.
336549
While Nicole and Jeremy are putting their heads together to track down Bobo, the White Widow Meredith blows down doors (and turns a few heads) for her entrance into Black Badge HQ. She promptly knocks the two do-gooders out with ther still-venomous breath.
336550
OK, lots happening here. While Waverly and Wynonna were en route to the hospital (contractions…), they stopped when they saw White Widow unlawfully redirect traffic around the bodies of Nicole and Jeremy. Beth shows up and gets Waverly in a headlock, and Wynonna bluffs that she might use the bullet on Meredith. Meredith wants to use Wynonna to enact her grand evil deeds, which are TBA at the moment but involve killing Beth. Beth is like, no way, do that and I'll kill Waverly. It's a lose-lose.
336551
Doc shows up to the party and is willing to end Wynonna's life before she has to figure out whether to give herself over to Meredith, Beth, both or neither. It's a pity kill. He aims and fires, Wynonna aims and fires, and the single bullet splits in two, each flying straight into a Widow's breast. Done deal.
336552
Dolls tries to breach the Purgatory border to fetch Wynonna a doctor, when he himself is stopped by Ewan and the Brotherhood. Ewan won't let anyone else know about the Earp heir, anyone that might want to kill it. Dolls has to think fast, so he heads back to town.
336553
Wynonna is coming close to popping out a kid, and Waverly and Rosita become de facto handmaidens.
336554
That is, Rosita uses her hands to bust maiden Waverly's head on the pool table. Rosita wants that baby, as it'll give her some leverage when negotiating for safe passage out of the Ghost River Triangle.
336555
Waverly wakes up, picks up Peacemaker, and, by the power vested in her by Wynonna and the Earp line, is able to discharge a bullet to scare off Rosita.
336556
Still granted no passage by Ewan and his boys, Dolls has no other recourse than to transform into his dragon self. Things get all reptilian on us.
336557
Doc, with the help of Jeremy, manages to overtake Bobo and…impale him on a metal spike. Yowza! Bobo's not looking too good.
336558
But, as the saying goes, in the midst of gruesome death, we are in newborn life. Despite all odds, Wynonna gives birth to a beautiful baby. Unfortunately, she's not able to stay with her long. To keep the babiest Earp safe, Waverly takes her out of Shorty's, which will shortly be overrun with Revenant scum.
336559
Well, turns out that Waverly can leave the Ghost River Triangle AND that the baby is NOT half Revenant. Why? Because neither of them burst into flames when crossing over the border. It means the babe is Doc's! Good news all around.
336560
Dolls and Wynonna turn Shorty's into the OK Corrall, shooting up a small army of Revenants that chose the wrong day to pick a fight. They send them all straight to hell.
336561
No one will let this baby stay put! Waverly is handing the child over to Perry, who will take her to a private island where she can be safe and far away. Doc shows up just in time to feel fatherly love before he too must say goodbye to his child.
336562
To make sure he never rises again, Doc throws Bobo down the notorious well, and puts a lid on it. Let's see you RISE to the occasion on this one, Bobo!
336563
But the trouble ain't over yet. Clootie is on the rise, and his real name is Balshasar. He's the boss at the end of the level. Gear up, gang, because it's going to get nasty. Have no fear though. Wynonna seeks advice on how to stop the evil - from her unseen mother.
