Face Off: Our Top Looks - Season 8, Episode 10
There was no distinction between artist and model on this week's episode of Face Off, featuring what McKenzie herself described as "the most daunting challenge" in the history of the series.
What a treat to watch the artists to create superhero or supervillain alter-egos ... of themselves! That's right, there was no distinction between artist and model on this week's episode of Face Off, featuring what McKenzie herself described as "the most daunting challenge" in the history of the series.
Daunting or otherwise, there was some truly inspired work this week. Check it out.
Season 8, Episode 10: "Super Selfies"
Top Looks (Judges):
1. Logan (Slayer)
2. Adam (The Crimson Wave)
Our Top Looks:
- Adam
The judges deemed Logan the winner of the challenge, but we think the true superhero of the evening was Adam as the Crimson Wave, complete with a wisecracking personality and a devilish grin. Who's in it for optioning him for a series?
- Ben
We loved that Ben went supervillain for his slain soldier resurrected as a cyborg killing machine, a sort of darker variation on RoboCop. Ben looked truly badass and scary, and we loved all that blood that kept coming out of his mouth. Maybe this is the Crimson Wave's arch-enemy?
- Stephanie
Stephanie was not only in Bottom Looks but was also eliminated, but we're big fans of Dollface, the pretty demon who defends humans in a post-apocalyptic world. Come on, she looks like she stepped out of the pages of a Neil Gaiman comic! We'll miss you, Steph.
Next Week: The artists are commissioned by some very imaginative clients ...
