For this week’s challenge, each shop had to chose a hive insect (think: bees, wasps and ants) to inspire three alien make-ups (think: queen, worker and drone). The artists also had to make a hatching prop egg for their aliens. This is Twisted Six Effects’ final look.

Jill and Nick created the Queen. Nick created the cowl. Jill did the face. Guest judge Eryn Krueger Mekash gave the compliment, “I love the paint job!”

Phil and Al were responsible for creating this Drone and Glenn was less than impressed with their “monotone yellow” color choice. Glenn would have liked to have seen more reds and browns be used.

A closer look at the Twisted Six Effects' Worker who is responsible for watching over the alien egg. Al created the alien egg, which the judges liked (somewhat) but it wasn't enough to keep him in the competition and he was sent home.

Nelson and Suzanne were responsible to for the Queen. Nelson sculpted, Suzanne fabricated. Glenn hated: “It’s not working at all!” Eryn Krueger Mekash commented that there was a lack of a neck, which a better paint job could have helped.
