Channel Zero: The Dream Door Premieres Later This Year
Your day just got a bit creepier... Channel Zero is back for a fourth season and it now has an official title!
The Channel Zero anthology that we all love to fear is back and now has an official title! Later this year, SYFY and Universal Cable Productions (UCP) will bring you Channel Zero: The Dream Door, based off the creepypasta short story, "Hidden Door," by Charlotte Bywater. This story follows newlyweds Jillian and Tom, who have each brought secrets into their marriage. When they discover a strange door in their basement, those secrets start to threaten their relationship -- and their lives. Mwahahaha.
Not only is the show coming back, but so are some of its talent! Nick Antosca will return as the executive producer (so you better believe it'll be creepy), and Brandon Scott (of Channel Zero: Butcher's Block fame) is coming back to play the show's male lead, Tom Hogson.
We're also pumped about the new additions to the Channel Zero family. Maria Sten will play opposite Scott as his wife, Jillian Hope Hodgson. Steven Robertson will play, Ian, Tom and Jillian’s next door neighbor, who gets wrapped up in Tom and Jillian’s bizarre experience with the mysterious door in their basement (which is already freaking us out). And Steven Weber will recur as Abel Carnacki, Jillian’s therapist.
Get ready to start sleeping with your lights on and double-checking your basement door is locked because we have a hunch this door isn't one you actually want to dream about, let alone, leave open.
