Warning: If you don't want to know what happened in this episode, don't read this photo recap!
This is the world now. Who’s complaining, really?
205202
Meet Joshua and Karen Copeland. They’re about to take shelter in their home, safe from the total insanity happening outside (as in, earthquakes, storms, tsumanis, etc).
205203
Comparatively safe, the Copelands enjoy a pleasant meal without any interup— wait, there’s someone at the door.
205204
Look who’s come to dinner: Clark Becker, the sheriff’s missing nephew. Let’s hope he doesn’t have a gluten allergy.
205205
No gluten allergy, but he does try to kill Karen (food wasn't that bad).
205206
Thinking on her feet, Dana slides Matt the family gun, which he then uses to shoot the impolite Clark several times in the chest. A ethereal figure leaves Clark's body. We learn that Clark was a "skinwalker" - meaning a human possessed by a demonic spirit. Just part of the end of the world, y'all.
205207
The next morning is relatively quiet and serene, with the occasional screams of Brianna, being dragged out of her house by another skinwalker.
205208
The skinwalker flies off (literally) with Brianna.
205209
The family sets out to find their daughter. Road trip!
205210
Brianna and the flying skinwalker ended up here.
205211
Overcome with hunger for Brianna, the skinwalker accidentally fills his stomach with this pointy tree stump.
205212
Brianna gets some dubious help from Sheriff Dodkins and his deputy, both of whom have gone dotty. They've become what are called "feverheads" - namely, infected with a plague that makes them totally insane (and dangerous).
205214
Meanwhile, Dodkins and his deputy have gotten in way over their heads when they try to evict a mean gang of bikers from a roadside restaurant. Thanks to Brianna, the bikers are able to save themselves from slaughter and shoot Dodkins and his deputy.
205215
When the murderous and psycho cops showed up at a restaurant, Brianna tipped the bikers inside off and saved their lives (the cops got shut in the struggle). As repayment, the bikers agree to drive Brianna to Yakima, where (thanks to a brief cell phone call), the rest of the Copelands are heading.
205216
Army personnel at Yakima have been instructed to shoot anyone with blood in the mouth on sight, as it means they are a feverhead. That means if you’ve got a cold sore, don’t go picking at it!
205217
A group of feverheads drive up, shooting guns and generally acting crazy. The army shoots them all.
205218
Meanwhile, Brianna arrived to Yakima just in time…to hide under a school bus to protect herself from a meteor that just crashed into Earth.
205219
Forced to evacuate, the Copelands truck their RV through fire and brimstone, hoping to find their lost daughter. Hopefully they brought some good mix tapes
